Jorge Diaz Vega, 26, used to work at the Star Wars gift shop inside Disney World's Hollywood Studios theme park in Florida until his acts of video voyeurism came to light. Vega admitted he did shoot videos over 500 times in the last six years.
According to court records filed by Orange County Sheriff's detectives, the former employee of the theme park store was spotted upskirt filming the female customer. She later told security officers she was not aware of Vega's actions. The victim was shopping for lightsabers with her fiance at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities when Vega got caught filming the teen who was wearing a black dress with black shorts underneath.
Vega was arrested on March 31 and released on $2,500 bail. During the probe, detectives said he admitted he takes the videos as a "guilty pleasure" and even showed them multiple examples on his cellphone. According to the police, Diaz said he takes the videos because it is hard to find them online and they bring him sexual gratification.
The allegations have caused a massive shockwave of disgust across social media, with many expressing concerns over visitor safety at the theme park. "That's [expletive] disgusting. Don't they do some sort of criminal background check on people before hiring them?" a Twitter user wrote.

It was not reported whether Vega had an attorney and a current phone number could not be located. A Disney spokesperson claimed the suspected voyeur doesn't work for the company, leaving ambiguity about his association with the parks.
Both the sheriff's office and Disney declined to say whether they are working to identify the other women who Vega allegedly took videos of.
Whether Vega was an employee of the entertainment giant, critics are disturbed that these kinds of events take place in the "happiest place in the world."
Disney is not a happy place right now as it began its second wave of layoffs on Monday, April 24.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the retrenchment included thousands of jobs as part of efforts to eliminate 7,000 positions and save $5.5 billion in costs. The layoffs are planned to go through Thursday, April 27, which would bring the total number of jobs culled to 4,000, Disney officials said.
"The senior leadership teams have been working diligently to define our future organization and our biggest priority has been getting this right, rather than getting it done fast," Disney Entertainment executives Alan Bergman and Dana Walden wrote in the memo to staff seen by Reuters. "We recognize that it has been a period of uncertainty and thank you all for your understanding and patience."
The cuts will occur across the company's business segments, including Disney Entertainment, ESPN and Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, but are not expected to affect hourly frontline workers employed in the parks and resorts.
On March 27, Disney CEO Bob Iger began notifying employees affected by the workforce reductions and said a second, larger round would follow in April. A third round is expected before the start of summer. (Related: Disney to begin mass layoff of 7,000 employees this week.)
