Influence group linked to Jeffrey Epstein brokering ties between GOP, CCP
By Ramon Tomey // Jan 30, 2023

An influence group with links to the murdered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was found to have been brokering relationships with the Republican Party and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

A Jan. 23 report by the National File divulged that the Humpty Dumpty Institute (HDI), funded by the convicted pedophile's brother Mark Epstein, is directly working with the Beijing-based Taihe Institute. Taihe is the "think tank" arm of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), China's armed forces.

The Chinese institute tasked with spreading Chinese communism and dominance around the globe boasts of operating "research centers" within the U.S. and Germany. Moreover, "cross-pollination" exists between HDI and Taihe, with numerous high-ranking members from both institutions hopping from one entity to the other.

Meanwhile, HDI has apparently "captured" multiple members of Congress and boasts of a bipartisan Congressional Advisory Board (CAB). As per the National File, this board includes GOP lawmakers who put House Speaker Kevin McCarthy of California into the third-highest position in the land. Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon was among these, the outlet revealed.

Bacon joined Colorado Rep. Doug Lamborn and Texas Reps. Troy Nehls and August Pfluger back in October 2021 on an HDI-sponsored trip to Uzbekistan. The four congressmen met with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to discuss new U.S. investments in the Central Asian nation.

Mirziyoyev, an ardent supporter of the CCP, has been flagged by activists for his human rights violations. Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov, a member of Mirziyoyev's cabinet, is also member of Taihe's executive council. Norov stepped down from the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Dec. 30, 2022.

Roughly a month after the Uzbekistan trip, HDI announced on Nov. 1, 2021 that Bacon and Pfluger were now part of the CAB alongside Alabama Rep. Barry Moore. While Moore was not part of the Uzbekistan trip, he later flew to Ukraine under HDI's sponsorship.

It's not just the GOP: Dem congressman also tied to HDI

The National File reached out to Bacon and Moore for comment about their links to HDI and the CCP. Both the congressmen and their staffers refused to comment.

"The silence of Bacon and Moore is akin to a wider silence on the [HDI] influence operation within the congressional GOP," the outlet remarked.

However, it seems that HDI's reach in the House of Representatives is not only limited to the GOP. A separate report by the National File expounded on the ties between Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) and the HDI. First elected in 2015 and re-elected last year, Gallego was quick to forge ties with the HDI – even becoming a member of the CAB. The Arizona congressman announced his intentions to run for the U.S. Senate, challenging Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ).

"As a Marine, I never back down from a fight. In the Senate, I'll fight to make sure every Arizonan has the same chance that I had at the American Dream," Gallego said in a statement.

The Democrat blasted Sinema for "abandoning Arizona," continuing that the now-independent senator has "repeatedly broken her promises and fought for the interests of Big Pharma and Wall Street at [Arizonans'] expense."

"I'm running for the U.S. Senate because the rich and the powerful don't need any more advocates in Washington, but families who can't afford groceries do," Gallego concluded.

But based on the National File's revelations, Gallego may be fighting for something else – the interests of communist China.
