Ranking Biden official proposed mandatory confiscation of “assault weapons” when she was O’Rourke’s campaign manager

Some ticked off conservatives are urging Georgia Republicans to sit out the two run-off elections that are currently scheduled for Jan. 5 because they are angry that the state’s GOP incumbents, Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, are not being sufficiently vocal in defense of President Donald Trump.

The thinking goes like this: Because the two incumbents aren’t being loud and vocal about the likely vote fraud that occurred in their state, handing it to Joe Biden instead of the president, they don’t deserve to be supported.

Well, perhaps that’s true — and perhaps it isn’t. But one thing is certain: If Democrats are able to flip both of those seats, the Senate winds up being 50-50, and it really will be Biden’s Senate because his vice president, Kamala Harris, becomes the tie-breaking vote.

And once again, Democrats will have all the levels of legislative power: Congress and the White House, where they will proceed to a) pack the courts with left-wing judicial activists; b) try to admit more states into the Union so that they can pad the Senate with new Democratic members; and c) destroy the Second Amendment.

Yes, it’s true: The Democrat Party, which has lurched far to the left, still wants to take away our guns, and Biden will become the hapless, brain-addled moron who will make it happen, just based on who he is filling his prospective administration with.

Big League Politics reports:

A Biden campaign operative tasked as a deputy chief of staff in Biden’s supposedly incoming presidential administration called for the mandatory confiscation of “assault weapons” as Beto O’Rourke’s campaign manager.

“We are actually the only campaign with a plan…that supports mandatory buybacks of weapons of war,” says [Jen O’Malle] Dillon of the Beto campaign in the video. “An assault weapon ban is very, very important, and we need to have it. But that only takes weapons of war off the streets in the future. It does nothing for weapons of war that are currently out there.”

Dillon goes on to clarify that the Beto gun confiscation plan would affect “15 to 16 million” guns, an unprecedented usurpation of private property on the part of the United States government. Beto generally avoided explaining how he’d enforce the draconian ban, alluding to tax penalties that would pile up on Americans who insist on their Second Amendment rights.

Recall that one of O’Rourke’s few fleeting moments of fame came when he declared, no doubt about it, “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47!”

In a 2019 interview with CNN’s Chris “Fredo” Cuomo, O’Rourke was again crystal clear about wanting to confiscate legally bought, legally owned firearms.

“Are you, in fact, in favor of gun confiscation?” Cuomo asked.

Yes, when it comes to AR-15s and AK-47s. Weapons designed for use on a military battlefield,” he said, as though there is some other kind of battlefield.

“But when it comes to firearms for use in hunting or self-defense, the answer is ‘no,’ and I don’t want you or anyone else to get into the fear mongering that some have fallen prey to, saying that the government’s going to come and take all of your guns,” he continued.

“What we are talking about exclusively is weapons of war that have no place…on our streets and should remain on the battlefield.

First and foremost, Americans cannot purchase “weapons of war.” The AR- and AK-style rifles that are available for purchase at present are not weapons of war; they are normal, semi-automatic rifles that are actually smaller in caliber than several other rifles currently for sale in the U.S., many with similar functionality and capacity.

But none of that matters in the great scheme of things because the Second Amendment is clear: Our right to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed,” and that’s about as plain as it gets.

Military look-alike firearms are still firearms, and thus, they’re protected by our Constitution.

Biden’s appointment of someone who has called for confiscating constitutionally protected firearms shows he’s not at all interested in protecting the very document he will have to swear to uphold and protect.

So, final note: If you live in Georgia and you’re concerned about this pending gun grab, go vote and don’t vote for the Democrat candidate.
