Trump campaign to pull press credentials from Bloomberg reporters; why not do that to ALL mainstream media outlets that lie about the president?
By JD Heyes // Dec 03, 2019

The 2020 Trump campaign announced on Monday that it will refuse to credential any reporters from Bloomberg News after its founder, Michael Bloomberg, officially entered the race for the Democratic nomination.

Also, the announcement by Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale comes on the heels of an announcement by Bloomberg News Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait, in a memo last week, that the news organization won’t scrutinize their namesake’s campaign.

“We will continue our tradition of not investigating Mike (and his family and foundation) and we will extend the same policy to his rivals in the Democratic primaries. We cannot treat Mike’s Democratic competitors differently from him,” Micklethwait wrote.

But of course, the news organization will continue to investigate President Trump and Republicans.

Parscale wasn’t having any of that.

“The decision by Bloomberg News to formalize preferential reporting policies is troubling and wrong,” he said Monday, according to The Gateway Pundit.

“Bloomberg News has declared that they won’t investigate their boss or his Democrat competitors, many of whom are current holders of high office, but will continue critical reporting on President Trump,” Parscale added.

“As President Trump’s campaign, we are accustomed to unfair reporting practices, but most news organizations don’t announce their biases so publicly. Presented with this new policy from Bloomberg News, our campaign was forced to determine how to proceed,” he said.

“Since they have declared their bias openly, the Trump campaign will no longer credential representatives of Bloomberg News for rallies or other campaign events. We will determine whether to engage with individual reporters or answer inquiries from Bloomberg News on a case-by-case basis. This will remain the policy of the Trump campaign until Bloomberg News publicly rescinds its decision,” said Parscale.

Trump’s campaign should credential independent media only

Okay, fair enough.

We get that Bloomberg News doesn’t want to tick off the boss. That makes plenty of sense. But then Micklethwait should commit to refraining from scrutinizing all candidates for the presidency this election cycle — which, of course, would include President Trump.

But he won’t do that. Because…bias. (Related: Joe Biden demands media declare total obedience to Democrats and blacklist all dissenting voices.)

Which brings up another point: Why credential any ‘Mainstream media’ organization? They are all liars, charlatans, and phonies. Every single one of them bought into the “Russian collusion” hoax. They covered for Hillary Clinton throughout the 2016 election cycle when they knew she was guilty of dozens of violations of the Espionage Act for mishandling classified information. They were all-in for impeaching Trump before he was even inaugurated. And now they’re all reporting the Ukraine “quid pro quo” hoax as well, despite the fact that the Ukrainian president himself, Volodymyr Zelensky, has twice said there wasn’t one and that Trump never pressured him to do anything, let alone investigate Joe and Hunter Biden for corruption.

Speaking of the media and the Bidens, where are the in-depth pieces on their very obvious corruption?

When you have a former vice president admit on video that, yeah, he definitely did what Trump’s being accused of doing — threatened to withhold aid from Ukraine unless that government did something for him (in this case, drop an investigation into a corrupt company paying his son 80 grand a month) — that’s what we in the news business call…news.

Or how about investigating whether Biden actually broke U.S. laws when he threatened Ukraine, as One America News reported in October? In fact, the network reports that Biden, on behalf of his co-conspirator president, Obama, may have violated a 1977 federal law called the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Under the law, U.S. government officials are prohibited from intervening in foreign governments or attempting to influence them, which is precisely what Biden did.

The president’s reelection campaign should credential independent media like us, OANN, and others, and cut off the ‘mainstream’ outlets altogether. They’re just going to lie about him anyway.
