A waitress was working in an upscale cafe when a group of Muslims approached and confronted her about what she was carrying. Before she could even explain herself, she was punched to the ground by one of the Muslim men, immediately knowing what it was that “offended” them so deeply.

During the month-long religious event of Ramadan, Muslims are compelled by strict and often dangerous rules that include abstaining from food and drink from sunrise to sunset. Of course, the stern religious regulations should be meant only for willing followers of that ideology. However, their compulsion towards subjugation and violence comes into play much more during this month as unsuspecting victims find out just how peacefully Islam can coexist.

During her shift at Vitis Café on the Nice seafront, a Tunisian waitress was serving her French patrons when she fell prey to multiculturalism. When a group of Muslim men saw that she, a Muslim woman, was carrying alcoholic beverages on her tray to customers, he flew into a rage.

The Daily Mail reports that the one of the men told her in Arabic that she should be ashamed to be serving alcohol during Ramadan. It was then that things turned ugly.

As well as calling her a “whore,” the waitress said one shouted, “‘If I was Allah, I would have hung you.’” “The whole scene was recorded by the security cameras that I gave to the police,” the bar’s owner, identified only as Nacim, said.”

The camera caught one of the Muslim men punching the waitress so hard she fell to the ground. The two men were identified from the footage by police, but they are on the run, according to officials. One of the men is an illegal immigrant known for his terrorist views.

“It’s not because I serve alcohol that I’m not fulfilling my duty. I do it because I’m a waitress. In Tunisia, I did the same job and never had the slightest problem,” she told the Nouvel Observateur news outlet. “I didn’t think that in France, a free country, I would have been assaulted like that.”

Punch news reports that a group of about 6 Muslim children kicked off Ramadan by nearly butchering a Christian man to death. After catching 41-year-old Francis Emmanuel eating while they were fasting, they questioned him about his beliefs. When he admitted that he wasn’t Muslim, they began stabbing him with scissors, knives, and various sharp objects.

Fortunately, Emmanuel was brought to a hospital by an unknown stranger who ultimately saved his life after he passed out from the attack.

Of course, this type of religious persecution during Ramadan is extremely common. In fact, violence and terrorism seem to be particularly higher during this month than any other time of the year.
