Every time a mass shooting occurs in the United States, it seems as though certain details about the event are mysteriously covered up afterwards. The Orlando nightclub shooting — which occurred at the hands of Islamic terrorist Omar Mateen — is no different.
In a televised interview with ABC, a witness to the shooting mentions that someone inside of the club was holding the backdoor closed in order to prevent attendees from exiting the building, while Mateen continued to gun people down. Just as the interviewee begins to divulge the specific details, the call is mysteriously dropped as the interviewers ask him to continue. It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to discover that there’s something strange afoot here.
PalmBeachPost.com reports that club-goer Janiel Gonzalez believes there was a second shooter, stating, “Fifty people were trying to jump over each other trying to exit the place. There was a guy holding the door and not letting us exit. He’s like ‘Stay inside, stay inside.’ As he is saying that, the shooter keeps getting closer and closer and the sound of the bullets is getting closer. Everyone starts to panic. People are getting trampled. ‘Let us out, let us out!'” Gonzalez went on to say, “I’m pretty sure it was more than one person. I heard two guns going at the same time. It was very, very crazy.”
What was the ABC interviewee going to say that we weren’t supposed to hear? Was he going to corroborate Gonzalez’s story that there was indeed a second shooter? There’s a very clear cover-up going on here. The American people have a right to find out the truth behind what happened in Orlando, and clearing up who was holding the door closed — and why — is the first step.
