Did you know California supplies more than 80% of the fresh citrus fruits consumed in the United States? That’s because California's warm climate and rich soils make it ideal for growing many crops, including grapes worth over $6.5 billion, almonds worth about $4 billion (Cali’s top export commodity), lettuce worth $4 billion, strawberries, oranges, olives, Clingstone peaches, dried plums, figs, persimmons, pomegranates, raisins, and walnuts, to name a few.
Oh, and don’t forget about the California cattle and calves' industry, worth nearly $5 billion, remembering that Bill Gates wants to kill off all the livestock so everyone will eat his lab-concocted Franken-meat instead (plus insects for dessert).
