“Guilty” Joe frustrated over Congressional probe of his son Hunter and accusations of bribery, kickbacks
By Richard Brown // Dec 20, 2023

Reports from various mainstream media outlets indicate that President Joe Biden is expressing frustration with his staff over the perceived unfairness of the ongoing investigation into his son, Hunter Biden.

The scrutiny seems to be weighing on the president, leading to speculation about a guilty conscience.

Axios highlights Biden's suggestion to close associates that if he hadn't run for office in 2020, Hunter wouldn't be facing criminal prosecutions or intense media coverage from conservative outlets.

This admission, according to some observers, may be a rare acknowledgment of responsibility in the president's lengthy political career. (Related: Hunter Biden implicated in a 'laundry list' of corrupt overseas business practices as father Joe Biden intimately involved.)

Critics argue that Joe's claims of political persecution are a diversion from the real issues at hand. They contend that Hunter is under legal scrutiny due to his involvement in alleged criminal activities tied to the Biden family.

The counter-argument includes accusations that Joe committed his son to a life of crime as the purported bagman for a family crime syndicate.

Allegations also suggest that the president sold U.S. government favors for personal enrichment, engaging with nefarious international actors, and leaving his son exposed to investigations starting at the bottom, where Hunter resides.

The narrative presents a retrospective analysis of Joe Biden's political trajectory, suggesting that he could have retired quietly after serving as Barack Obama's vice president, thus avoiding the current wave of scrutiny.

Joe is acting like a crime boss

However, the "Don" of the Biden family seemingly pushed his luck, seeking more years of political engagement before a planned retirement to a beach home, classic Corvette and publicly funded protective detail.

The president's bold public displays, akin to a crime boss, are highlighted – including taking Hunter on diplomatic trips and boasting about using government power to shut down investigations.

The narrative draws parallels between Biden's behavior and that of Al Capone, who confidently flaunts an untouchable demeanor.

Recent developments, including the seizure of Joe's bank records, exposure of his involvement through a misplaced laptop, and whistleblowers alleging corruption within his syndicate, have heightened tensions.

The narrative suggests that faced with these challenges, Joe is resorting to blaming his underlings, causing friction within the family.

The strained relationship between the president and Attorney General Merrick Garland is emphasized. Observers think Garland's appointment of a special counsel to investigate Hunter is viewed unfavorably by the president.

Analogies are drawn to former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey, emphasizing a focus on the appearance of integrity rather than making the right decisions.

Meanwhile, Hunter delivered a scathing rebuke to House Republicans in a carefully orchestrated appearance outside the U.S. Capitol on Dec. 13, coinciding with lawmakers gathering inside for a planned deposition of the president's son.

Rather than complying with a congressional subpoena for closed-door testimony, Hunter reiterated his preference to testify exclusively in a public setting, further intensifying an ongoing dispute with GOP lawmakers.

"I am here to testify at a public hearing today, to answer any of the committee's legitimate questions," asserted Hunter. Last month, Chairman James Comer of the House Oversight Committee issued a subpoena for Hunter Biden to undergo a closed-door deposition as part of the committee's impeachment probe into the president.

Hunter expressed his willingness to testify before the panel, but only in a public forum, challenging House Republicans by asking: "What are they afraid of? I'm here, I'm ready."

In a concise speech lasting less than 10 minutes, he delivered strong criticisms, accusing House Republicans of lacking shame and conducting an unfair and indecent probe. He highlighted what he perceived as an invasion of his privacy; attacks on his family; and attempts to dehumanize and embarrass him and his father.
