New York Times SLAMS Joe Biden for disowning 4-year-old granddaughter from Hunter Biden and a stripper
By Arsenio Toledo // Jul 12, 2023

The New York Times has printed a scathing opinion piece by one of its star columnists. The piece strongly criticized President Joe Biden for claiming that he only has six grandchildren instead of seven – effectively disowning the four-year-old daughter of Hunter Biden born to a stripper.

In a column titled "It's Seven Grandkids, Mr. President," Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Maureen Dowd excoriated Biden for deliberately excluding his granddaughter, four-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, born to Hunter and stripper Lunden Alexis Roberts, from the Biden family tree.

Navy Joan, born in Arkansas in 2018, was recently confirmed as Hunter's daughter after a court-ordered paternity test. Hunter recently settled a child support case in Arkansas, ending a paternity dispute that began in 2019 when a test confirmed that Navy Joan is his daughter.

In the settlement, Hunter has agreed to continue paying $5,000 a month in child support – a reduction from the initial $20,000 agreed upon. Furthermore, Hunter will provide Navy Joan's mother Lunden with the proceeds from the sale of an undisclosed number of his art pieces. Navy will also be able to keep one of the pieces as security for her future, and Hunter has also agreed to pay for all of the attorney fees and court costs. (Related: Sick Hunter Biden said he wouldn't pay cash-strapped assistant unless she FaceTimed him undressed.)

In exchange, Lunden has agreed to drop her court petition to have Navy Joan's last name changed to Biden.

"Joe Biden's mantra has always been that 'the absolute most important thing is your family.' It is the heart of his political narrative. Empathy, born of family tragedies, has been his stock in trade," wrote Dowd, alluding to Biden's previous family tragedies, including the death of his eldest son Beau to a brain tumor.

"Callously scarring Navy's life, just as it gets started, undercuts that," Dowd said, adding that the president's behavior could result in Navy Joan being bullied "as she grows up, knowing that her father and paternal grandparents wanted nothing to do with her."

"She will probably be able to see a video or two showing her half-sister Naomi getting married on the South Lawn and you watching the fireworks on the balcony with little [grandson] Beau. And if she misses that, there will be plenty of schoolmates to remind her that she wasn't wanted. Kids can be mean that way."

Massive outcry over Biden's refusal to acknowledge granddaughter

The outcry over the president's lack of empathy has been massive.

"What a beautiful little girl she is. I saw a story on this and her picture and she's just adorable, and to have her family disavowing her and basically disowning her without ever meeting her? How sad. Incredibly sad," remarked Arizona politician Kari Lake. "But maybe there's a silver lining here. They said in the settlement that she can't use the Biden name. That name is absolute mud. I think she's actually lucky that she'll never have to use the Biden name."

"Remarkable that Joe Biden hangs a Christmas stocking for his dog, but won't acknowledge his granddaughter," noted Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton. "Not an ounce of decency."

"Set aside politics and put yourself in the shoes of this four-year-old," noted economist and political scientist Timur Kuran. "'She's aware that her father is Hunter Biden and that her paternal grandfather is U.S. president. She speaks about both often, but she has not met them.' No one should do this to a child."

"What an absolute disgrace. I get that Hunter is hopeless, but how can Joe Biden not have a relationship with his granddaughter who did absolutely nothing wrong?" said Marc Thiessen, author and former White House speechwriter for former President George W. Bush.

The only love Navy Joan seems to be getting is from Lunden and her maternal grandfather, Rob Roberts, who said in a text interview that he "may not be the POTUS," referring to an acronym for the president, but he said he would do anything for his granddaughter.

"She needs for nothing and never will," said Rob.
