According to The Post Millennial, Musk has now declared that use of the terms "cis" and "cisgender" to describe persons who are not transgender, which is just about every human on the planet, is considered to be a slur on his platform.
"Repeated, targeted harassment against any account will cause the harassing accounts to receive, at minimum, temporary suspensions," Musk said. "The words 'cis' or 'cisgender' are considered slurs on this platform."

Musk's warning was in response to a tweet from commentator James Esses, who said he was harassed online and called names after he said he didn't appreciate being labeled as "cis."
"Yesterday after posting a Tweet saying that I reject the word ‘cis’ and don’t wish to be called it, I receive a slew of messages from trans activists calling me 'cissy' and telling me that I am ‘cis’ 'whether or not I like it'. Just imagine if the roles were reversed," he noted.
Esses' original tweet said that he simply rejects being labeled "cisgender" because he refuses to go along with the language demands of the woke leftists pushing gender ideology.
"I formally and publicly declare that I reject the label of 'cis'. I don’t believe in gender ideology. I don’t self-identify as 'cis'. Using this term makes me feel unsafe and is demonstrative of your hatred towards me. Anyone who uses the term 'cis' to describe me is a bigot," he wrote.
The Post Millennial noted further:
The term signifies the creation of a new binary: trans and cis, and makes a judgment about non-trans people. Many people who hold views critical of gender ideology, aka those who know that biological sex is a constant in reality, often reject the term as pejorative.
The person who coined the term in 1994 told HuffPo that the only issue with the word is the people who take issue with the word.
"The word is a threat because it linguistically separates biological sex from socially constructed categories of 'woman' and 'man.' That gender is a social construction undermines heteronormativity, critical to defending patriarchal sex roles and procreation. It is not surprising that those who have garnered dominance and privilege from traditional gender roles feel threatened and compelled to lash out," Dane Defosse wrote.
Before Musk assumed control of Twitter, the platform's terms of service prohibited "misgendering," which entailed using a gendered term based on an individual's biological sex rather than their self-identified gender. As a result, commentator Meghan Murphy and others had their accounts suspended for violating the policy. However, there were no repercussions for referring to someone as "cis," even if that person did not identify themselves as such.
In short, 'trans' was allowed to be a chosen identity, but under the old rules, 'cis' could be assigned to someone without their consent.
In Republican-led states around the country, legislators and governors are moving to protect children from transgender ideology and permanent damage to their bodies by prohibiting healthcare providers from giving kids puberty blockers and performing sex change surgeries on them.
Democrats, meanwhile, almost to a person, support the transition to "trans" for kids and claim that allowing biological men to compete in sporting events against biological women is "fair," while labeling opponents as small-minded bigots.
Something like 20 minutes ago, Democrats were all about protecting women and women's rights, but it's time to create another victim group to bolster their core voting bloc.
