In his "absence," the Democratic Party has installed some of the straight-up Marxists into positions of power. They brought with them the ideological tools to destroy what is left of our republic as founded. [Note: The objective has always been to tear down our institutions, shred our system of traditional values (like two-parent, male-female households and accepting personal responsibility), destroy our mores and taint our history so all of them can be replaced with an authoritarian top-down regime that doesn't co-govern with the people but rather rules over us and resembles the kind of monarchy our founders rebelled against.]
One such policy tool is the push for "equity" -- which cannot and should never be confused with equality. "Equity" is a concept introduced by the far-left Democratic Marxists with a thin veneer of 'equality' but which actually supplants equal treatment throughout society with a caste-like system based on concepts our Constitution and our laws were supposed to guard against.
Characteristics like skin color, economic status, gender and even gender preference are used to replace our old merit-based system, where men and women were rewarded with better pay, promotions and other societal perks -- or not -- based on their individual efforts and performance.
So-called "chief diversity officers" that Biden was instructed by his handlers, via executive order, to mandate in all federal agencies right after taking office are a perfect example of the new 'equity' model. But one Republican lawmaker, Rep. Brian Mast of Florida, exposed this fraudulent system in a brutal fashion, not that it matters in the short term; the only thing that fixes this problem is a lot of Democrats losing a lot of elections for a long, long time -- until the party is so politically irrelevant in our country, it barely exists.
During a hearing, "Mast questioned Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the State Department, about how these diversity initiatives are put into practice when hiring," the Western Journal reported.
The outlet added:
Mast first asked her if being bald or being 5’8? made someone a better diplomat. Abercrombie-Winstanley responded that those did not matter. The congressman then asked if being white, black, Asian or Latino made any difference, and again she answered, “No.”
But it was the question that Mast asked directly after that that left Abercrombie-Winstanley absolutely dumbfounded.
“Can you tell me, am I white?” Mast asked her.
Abercrombie-Winstanley paused to consider the question before stating that she would need to ask him how he identifies in order to provide a response. Mast repeated the question, and she reiterated that she did not know. The congressman then inquired if he was of mixed heritage, including being half-black, Latino, Asian or Pacific Islander, or having a brown identity, to which the ambassador provided the same response.
Then Mast, who the Daily Caller described as being half-Latino, responded: “It shouldn’t matter that I’m half-Mexican, it shouldn’t matter whether I’m able-bodied, or ambulatory or not ambulatory, that doesn’t have anything to do with what my background is.”
He went on to emphasize that what truly mattered was the dedication and qualifications of individuals serving in the military or federal agencies. He emphasized that their willingness to volunteer and their demonstrated skills were the key factors in ensuring they could perform their duties effectively.
Being bald or 5’8” doesn’t make someone a better diplomat. Neither does being white, or Asian, or Native American, or Black, or Latino.

Character, abilities and willingness to do the job are what should be the defining factors when it comes to selecting the best person for the job. Only Marxist Democrats hell-bent on destroying the country disagree.
