RIGGED: Daughter of judge overseeing Trump’s Manhattan DA case is Democrat activist who worked to elect Biden
By JD Heyes // Apr 06, 2023

The archived LinkedIn account of Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter, who is overseeing former President Donald Trump's case, contains information that suggests her ties to the Democratic Party.

Her LinkedIn profile indicates that she is the president and partner of Authentic Campaigns, a company that specializes in digital campaigns for Democratic candidates. Reports also suggest that she worked on the Biden-Harris campaign, where she was responsible for digital marketing and persuasive messaging for Kamala Harris.

These revelations have led to concerns about impartiality in the ongoing legal proceedings, USA Journal reported.

“BREAKING: The daughter of the Manhattan judge presiding over the Trump criminal case is a Democratic political strategist who worked on the congressional campaign of Democrat Rep. ADAM SCHIFF, who led the first impeachment of Trump," investigative reporter Paul Sperry confirmed in a tweet.

The UK's Daily Mail also reported on the daughter, even identifying her:

Trump railed against Judge Juan Manuel Merchan in a social media rant ahead of his arraignment on Tuesday afternoon with a post claiming the judge is from a 'family of well known Trump haters.'

Loren Merchan, the 34-year-old daughter of the Manhattan judge, is partner and president of Authentic Campaigns, a progressive digital firm, and worked on several high-profile Democratic campaigns – including for President Joe Biden.

The work of the judge's daughter led to increased claims from former President Trump that the judge 'hates me' and that the Stormy Daniels hush money case against him in Manhattan is rigged, biased and part of the politicization and criminalization of the U.S. justice system.

Loren Merchan served as the digital director for Kamala Harris' 2020 presidential campaign from February to December 2019. Merchan's company, Authentic Campaigns, also reportedly continued to work for both Harris and Joe Biden after Harris withdrew from the race and joined Biden's campaign as his running mate. The revelations have sparked concerns about impartiality in the ongoing legal proceedings, as Merchan is presiding over the case against Trump.

After completing her work with the campaign, she transitioned to the role of Partner at Authentic Campaigns, a progressive digital strategies firm. She steadily climbed the ranks over a period of five years and now holds the positions of President and COO at the firm, the report said.

Her firm has worked for several Democratic politicians, including California Gov. Gavin Newsom, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York, and Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema. Merchan married Taylor Harper, a geographer at the U.S. Census, in June 2022, with the wedding officiated by her father in Virginia.

Several legal experts on both sides of the aisle have blasted Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for charging Trump with 34 felonies related to his alleged hush money payment to adult film star Daniels, which the DA claims was a violation of campaign finance laws -- even though U.S. attorneys refused to file charges in the case as did the Federal Election Commission.

Now, according to House Judiciary Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), Republican DAs want a little payback regarding President Joe Biden and his debased son, Hunter Biden.

On Wednesday, Comer warned he had recent conversations with two GOP county attorneys who were asking him for “ways” to go after the Bidens.

“I had two calls yesterday, one from a county attorney in Kentucky and one from a county attorney in Tennessee. They were Republican, obviously, both states are heavily Republican. They want to know if there are ways they can go after the Bidens now,” Comer told Fox News.

“And they’ve opened a can of worms. They’ve set precedents now that we can’t go back on. And now we’re going to see a judicial system that’s already bogged down with doing what they’re supposed to do, and that’s going after real criminals, people that are committing real crimes, burglaries, rape, robberies, things like that,” he noted further.

“And now you’re going to start having ambitious political people like Alvin Bragg try to make a name for themselves and go after big pie-in-the-sky federal cases. And it’s just not a good path that we need to go forward on in our judiciary,” he said.
