The "16th positive, statistically significant trial" of its kind, to Dr. Pierre Kory, MD, APA, a strong proponent of ivermectin, the research included 399 patients who were given either ivermectin or a placebo daily. All of the participants are unvaccinated adults who were exposed to someone with a PCR-"confirmed" SARS-CoV-2 infection within five days of screening.
After taking ivermectin for 28 days, 75 percent of the participants who were given ivermectin as opposed to a placebo avoided covid infection entirely – and safely so, seeing as how ivermectin is one of the safest and most effective drugs to ever exist.
Calles "SAIVE," or "A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Ivermectin in COVID-19 Prevention," the clinical trial is a Phase 2, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study that was conducted in Bulgaria between March and November 2022.
"Participants were given 200 microgram / kg on Day 1, then 100 microgram/kg from Day 2 to Day 28," reports indicate about the dosing regimen. (Related: Check out this earlier study out of Brazil, which found that ivermectin decreases the chance of covid death by 92 percent.)
"The SAIVE study provides encouraging data demonstrating efficacy and safety of Ivermectin in prevention of Covid-19 infection in a post-exposure situation," wrote the authors.
"It supports the development of a long-acting injectable. Such a long-acting injectable would provide a complementary tool against COVID-19. Several candidate formulations of Ivermectin are ready for clinical batch manufacturing to start regulatory preclinical and clinical development. We will be reviewing the strategy for this asset based on this top line result and the upcoming comprehensive analysis of the study."

To be clear, there is really no need for ivermectin to be made injectable when the pill format works just fine. Keep this in mind when looking at studies such as this that aim to repackage ivermectin as a novel kind of drug to replace the original, presumably to jack up the price for future release.
Even so, the study adds to the growing mountain of evidence supporting ivermectin as a safe and effective remedy for covid. Ivermectin is a safe and effective remedy for many diseases, it turns out – which is why the government does not want you to have access to it.
Ivermectin is a Nobel Prize-winning drug for which the Journal of Antibiotics wrote the following back in 2017:
"Few, if any, other drugs can rival Ivermectin for its beneficial impact on human health and welfare."
Before it was ever used on animals, just to be clear, ivermectin was developed and approved for human use. It is not just "horse paste" as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) claimed back in an Aug. 21, 2021, tweet decrying the public's use of it for covid.
Don't forget that the FDA itself first approved ivermectin for human use back in the mid-1990s, but later tried to pretend that the drug is just for livestock. Don't be fooled by the FDA's lies.
"If a safe and effective drug had previously existed to treat COVID-19, it would have been impossible to authorize the EUA for vaccines, which established the global platform needed to test and tweak the experimental mRNA injections," writes Michelle Edwards for Undercover DC about why ivermectin was vilified throughout the covid scamdemic.
"Unfortunately, that is the reality of the battle at hand."
