Maybe it was the Russia, Russia, Russia Trump-collusion hoax that began the massive downfall of the fake news industrial complex (FNIC) of America. It could have been the Hunter Biden laptop narrative that fell apart in their faces and proved to be a real story. Possibly the 3.5-year coverup of Dementia Joe’s cognitive decline put the nails in the coffin for mainstream media’s demise in the eyes of the populace.
Most likely, it was all of the above, compounded by truth news exposing the lies, and Donald J. Trump calling them “fake news” repeatedly while whistleblowers across the spectrum of media proved so many of the “conspiracy theories” of the Right were actual prerogatives and insidious actions of the Left.

Newspapers, television and radio news is nearly all 'fake news', or biased at the very least, mainly when it comes to health, safety, border security, proxy wars, and American rights, but still millions of Democrats are brainwashed by the mudslide avalanche of propaganda daily.
The most gullible folks are older folks, who are middle-aged or seniors now. They grew up watching Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather and several other presstitutes who spewed the lies of the crooked politicians and the purveyors of the military industrial complex, the shills of Big Pharma and the hucksters of the FDA, CDC and AMA.
Democrats have the highest numbers among the FNIC brainwashed sheeple. At least two out of every three Democrats think that the national news is real. Many of them are convinced of this because most local news is real, covering in great detail minor, less-significant news that doesn’t really matter to top-level politicians who are out to take their money, control their lives and choices and depopulate the nation, while replacing the middle class with illegal immigrants.
Gallop polls began asking the question of how believable the mass media is back in the early 1970s, and the trust factor back then was double what it is now, around 70 percent. Then the trust factor took a dive in the early 1990s and on into the early 2000s, where only about half of all Americans believed in fake news, whether on television, in the newspapers or on the radio. Remember, there still was no internet then, so no websites, YouTube or social media at all.
Today, more than half of all Democrats STILL think the national news is real. They think reports about Russia helping Trump are real. They think the Covid pandemic started because someone ate some infected bat soup in China, and that the clot shots saved them from the Wuhan virus, and most of them are still wearing their bacteria-breeding Fauci face diapers 24/7/365. Conversely, only about 1 in 4 independents currently think that mainstream media delivers real news, but only about 12% of Republicans say they have a “fair amount” of trust in the media.
Now, even the Democrats are beginning to lose faith in the FNIC (mainstream media), as many of the main propaganda platforms are blowing up in their faces. The Hunter Biden laptop “theory” was solidified as real. Joe Biden called Trump his VP during a live debate. Kamala “Kommie” Harris can’t speak coherently without reading Obama’s script straight from a teleprompter. Tens of millions of illegal immigrants have flooded cities and towns where people who thought the “open border” claims were fake, and now must admit it’s real, at least if only to themselves.
No, Trump doesn’t weigh 400 pounds, he’s not a racist and he doesn’t want to be a dictator who destroys democracy. No, the mRNA jabs are not safe and effective. No, the face diaper masks don’t work. Yes, chemtrails are real, just like weather weapon technology. Yes, the Democrats running the country right now are Marxists. That is why trust in the FNIC is fading faster than ever, and righteously so. Take a look at the Gallop graph from 1972 to 2024 and you will see.
