It’s one of the things that has convinced a lot of people who were not Trump supporters before to go full MAGA.
So, it makes sense that far-left-run search engines and social media platforms would want to keep people from seeing it.
And, that’s exactly what Facebook has just admitted to doing.
?#BREAKING: Facebook has officially admitted that it wrongly censored the historic, iconic photo of former President Trump pumping his fist with his ear bleeding after the tragic event that occurred during his rally in Pennsylvania, saying this was an error pic.twitter.com/EdlATA0rp4

BREAKING: @Meta/@facebook now reporting the photo of President Trump right after the assassination attempt as an “altered photo” & is blocking it from being viewed on their platforms.
This is just a continued attempt to scrub the assassination from the public mind. @elonmuskpic.twitter.com/E4Emv5sK8l

Posts featuring the iconic photo of the assassination attempt on Trump were flagged as “misinformation” and “altered” photos.
After being called out over it, Facebook admitted to censoring the photo and apologized for the so-called mistake.
Meta Communications Director Dani Lever responded to a post from Charlie Kirk on X about the censorship, calling the “fact check” an “error.”
Yes, this was an error. This fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the secret service agents smiling, and in some cases our systems incorrectly applied that fact check to the real photo. This has been fixed and we apologize for the mistake.

More details from The New York Post:
Facebook acknowledged that it mistakenly censored the iconic image of former President Donald Trump with his fist raised in the immediate aftermath of the July 13 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.
A post on Mark Zuckerberg’s social media site by a user with the handle End Wokeness that showed the Republican presidential candidate defiantly pumping his fist in the air while blood streams down his face had initially been flagged as misinformation.
The user was threatened with being deplatformed.
However, on Monday, Dani Lever, a spokesperson for the social network’s parent company, Meta, admitted the tech giant made a “mistake.”
Raw Story added:
Meta, the company behind Facebook, has apologized for removing a photo of former President Donald Trump shortly after he was shot in the ear at a Pennsylvania campaign rally earlier this month.
Shortly after some right-wing social media accounts complained that Facebook was preventing them from sharing a photo of Trump in the wake of the shooting, Facebook spokesperson Dani Lever took to Twitter to explain that the image should not have been censored.
“This was an error,” Lever wrote. “This fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the secret service agents smiling, and in some cases our systems incorrectly applied that fact check to the real photo. This has been fixed and we apologize for the mistake.”
