Flashback: 17-year-old Danish girl who fought off rapist with pepper spray was CRIMINALLY CHARGED for carrying spray
By Cassie B. // Jul 11, 2024

Crimes perpetrated by migrants are a serious problem in countries with migrant-friendly policies, especially in the U.S. and Europe, where some of these foreigners are committing crimes against citizens while the mainstream media, law enforcement and liberal politicians look the other way – and in some cases, it’s the victims who end up paying.

However, this is not a new phenomenon. In an outrageous incident that took place in 2016, a Danish teen who was sexually assaulted by a migrant and fought back with pepper spray ended up facing legal charges.

The girl, who was 17 at the time, said that the man, who was either an asylum seeker or a refugee, targeted her while she was walking near a migrant asylum center in the coastal town of Sonderborg. He knocked the girl down to the ground and attempted to undress her. She was able to prevent the attack from going further by spraying pepper spray at him.

While you might think police would be relieved that she was able to prevent the situation from escalating into a full-fledged assault that could have caused her permanent psychological and physical harm, they instead took an antagonistic approach, saying the girl would be facing a fine of 500 Krone, which is around $50, for using the substance because it is illegal there.

A local police spokesman told Danish media: “It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely be charged for that.”

Numerous women had complained about the aggression and harassment directed at them by the male refugees there.

On one hand, $50 is a small price to pay if it means saving yourself from being raped, and many people whose governments aren't doing enough to prevent these crimes would gladly accept such a fine if they needed to defend themselves from a crime in progress. However, the idea that a young girl who fought off an attacker and possibly saved her own life using a non-lethal substance faced charges over it is appalling and speaks volumes about the way many countries are putting aside the interests of their native citizens in favor of migrants.

Crimes perpetrated by migrants are a growing problem

It's been nearly ten years since this incident, but not much has changed since then. In many places, it’s the victims who are being held accountable for defending themselves when migrants commit crimes – and in some cases, they are even being blamed for what happens to them.

Speaking out against migrants, even when stating a truth about a crime, is now considered discrimination and, in many cases, a hate crime, and politicians and the mainstream media are so afraid of the political correctness police that they are doing their best to shift the blame or censor stories illustrating how open borders politics can go wrong.

A recent example of this is the case of 22-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, who was brutally murdered by 26-year-old migrant Jose Antonio Ibarra while jogging on the University of Georgia’s Athens campus.

Instead of focusing on how to prevent situations like this in our country, multiple mainstream media outlets took the opportunity to publish stories about the dangers of women going running alone, prompting accusations of victim blaming. “Experts” told women to be more alert when running instead of calling for stricter border controls. Even President Biden, who is directly responsible for the influx of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. in recent years, came under fire from Democrat allies after referring to Riley’s killer as “an illegal” in his State of the Union speech, even though that's exactly what he was.

Earlier this year, it appeared that some progress was being made in Germany, where the government announced it would speed up deportations to tackle rising crime in the face of an increase in the number of suspects there who have non-German backgrounds. Data showed there was a 5.5% overall increase in crime in Germany in 2023 and a sharp rise of 13.5% in the number of suspects with foreign backgrounds and an 8.6% jump in violent crime.

However, like many countries, it still has a long way to go before real change is made. A 20-year-old woman was sentenced recently in Germany for sending insulting messages to one of the perpetrators of a brutal gang rape that saw more than nine men assaulting a teen and sharing videos of the attack. They included migrants from Egypt, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Kuwait and other places.

While eight of the nine migrants were spared prison time, the woman who called one of the rapists a “dishonorable rapist pig" in a message was forced to spend a weekend in jail – which was more time behind bars than the rapists themselves.
