Trump says he will strip the public school system of gender identity and critical race theory (CRT) propaganda and overhaul the curriculum. He says he will also strip federal funding from schools that mandate vaccines and masks.
If you are concerned about your daughter playing sports with "transwomen," meaning males in drag, Trump is promising to tackle that issue as well once being installed next January.
"On day one, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto the lives of our children," the presumptive Republican nominee told a raucous crowd at Turning Point Action's "The People's Convention" in Michigan over the weekend.
"And I will not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate," Trump further said, adding that he will make it his job to "keep men out of women's sports" while fully upholding the Second Amendment.
"We will protect innocent lives and we will restore a thing called free speech as it is being taken away from us by these radical thugs," Trump proclaimed to loud cheering.
At previous campaign appearances, Trump vowed to "break up" the Department of Education if reelected, this also being one of his same campaign promises during the 2016 presidential election cycle.

Trump proudly boasted at the same event that he received a full endorsement from the National Rifle Association (NRA), which he hopes will garner him sustained support from Americans who support the right to bear arms.
In Trump's view, it is the Democrats who are forcing the "liberal indoctrination of America's youth." He plans to reverse this by undoing the Title IX expansions imposed by the Biden regime that strip federal funds from schools that block mentally ill transgenders from using bathrooms, locker rooms and pronouns that align with their gender delusions.
Doctors who provide "gender-affirming care" will also be blocked under a second Trump administration from receiving any federal funding. Even just promoting "the concept of sex and gender transition at any age" will warrant doctors being barred from receiving U.S. taxpayer dollars.
"The left-wing gender insanity being pushed at our children is an act of child abuse – very simple," Trump said at a January rally as he outlined a range of policies designed to limit the promotion of LGBT perversion at public schools.
Some commenters on news stories about Trump's campaign promises expressed skepticism about whether or not he will actually follow through on them. After all, Trump promised to lock up Hillary Clinton until the moment he was elected, only to then drop the matter entirely.
"Politicians talk a lot," one wrote. "Almost as much as they lie. Apparently the federal government provides about 7.5% of school funding, so it won't change much for the gender / race activists."
Another wrote that he supports Trump's plan to abolish the Department of Education "and end the insanity of student loans."
"All 50 states already have their own education departments," this person added. "The U.S. government has 35 trillion in national debt now because of too many crooks and idiots that didn't agree with what I just said."
"I'm pretty sure the 'gender insanity' in our schools has been going on longer than four years but I could be wrong," wrote another.
