While promoting his film "Protocol 7" during his guesting on the "Health Ranger Report," Wakefield told host and Brighteon founder Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, that "Fauci is a liar and a very, very dangerous man."
Recently, Fauci testified before the House's Select Subcommittee on the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This was his first appearance on Capitol Hill since 2022 when he ended a decades-long government career that saw him emerge as the public face of the federal government's efforts to combat COVID-19. The testimony happened as former Fauci aide David Morens came under fire for using a personal email to communicate about COVID-19 origins, bypassing federal disclosure rules.
During the said hearing, Fauci clashed with the Republicans on the panel, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who refused to address Fauci with "doctor," instead referring to him as "Mr. Fauci."
"The problem comes and when I watch that, it becomes manifestly obvious that there is no accountability. Fauci is going to get his huge pension and move on to hell with the rest of the world. And that, to me, is something that cannot be allowed to happen," Wakefield told Adams and proceeded to talk about the film, which was based on real-life events related to vaccinations in the United States.
"That was what it was in danger of happening with this film," he continued. "And I thought, whatever the consequences for the filmmakers, this film needs to get out there right now so that those who were responsible for this fraud are held accountable and not just allowed to move on to another job, continue getting paid a vastly inflated salary, while the people who've been deceived are left to deal with the consequences."
"Protocol 7" is about the catastrophic regression of a small-town lawyer's adopted son as she gets confronted with the reality of corporate fraud at the highest level. The conflict in this true whistleblower story is getting the massive corporation accountable for the crimes it has committed. The film's goal, according to Wakefield, is to reach two groups of people.
"Broadly, it's the people who already know, those mums who've got vaccine-injured children and families who are affected," he explained. "Then there are the people who've woken up during the COVID-19 era. They've realized that they've been lied to and that they should invest their trust in those people who've been trying to bring them the truth all along. And that's the group that we want to reach."
He also addressed those who are still undecided and unaware of the deception. "People say, 'Well, okay, there may be a problem with this COVID vaccine, but the childhood vaccine schedule is perfectly safe and effective.' This film takes them back over the bridge and says, 'No, actually, this has been happening for many years. The behavior of the industry and the regulators has been the same for many years.'" Adams lauded the film and Wakefield's efforts, saying the "film is pivotal in the history of the understanding of the widespread weaponization of medicine against the human race."
The film has specifically cited the Big Pharma company, Merck. Adams asked the filmmaker how "similar" the script is to what happened in real life.
"You've got a small production company versus a huge multinational pharmaceutical industry and that's taking a risk," said Wakefield. "We had several documents upon which the film was based. There were elements of the fraud that were committed by Merck that we were confident could stand up to scrutiny if we were ever threatened with litigation, for example, defamation."
According to him, thousands of pages of documents were sealed by the court until very recently. He initially thought those documents would undermine the integrity of the film and make them guilty of defamation.
"But quite the opposite happened," he said. "We realized that when reading the expert reports from, for example, the ex-head of the [Food and Drug Administration] FDA, Dr. David Kessler, who was testifying on behalf of the whistleblowers, was even more damning of Merck's behavior than we portrayed in the film. You could argue that Merck is getting off lightly in this movie. We'll see where they go with that."
