The Rock says HE WON’T SUPPORT Joe Biden in 2024 elections
By Ramon Tomey // Apr 07, 2024

Professional wrestler turned Hollywood actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has reportedly said he won't support incumbent President Joe Biden in the November 2024 presidential election.

The so-called "most electrifying man in sports entertainment" shared this during an April 5 interview on Fox News. He told the network's Will Cain during the "Fox & Friends" interview that he regrets supporting Biden during the 2020 presidential election.

"Am I happy with the state of America right now? Well, that answer's no," Johnson answered in response to the Fox News host's question. "Do I believe we're [going to] get better? I believe that. I'm an optimistic guy and I believe we can get better."

The People's Champion expounded on his earlier endorsement of Biden, saying that it "was what [he] thought was the best decision for [him] at the time. I thought back then, when we talked about, 'Hey, you know, I'm in this position where I have some influence.' It's my job then, I felt like then. It's my job now to exercise my influence and share 'This is who I'm going to endorse.' "Am I going to do that again this year? That answer's no. I was then the most followed man in the world and am today, and I appreciate that. But what that caused was something that tears me up in my guts – which is division. That got me.

"I didn't realize that then, I just felt like there was a lot of unrest and I'd like things to calm down. The takeaway after that was it caused an incredible amount of division. I realize now going into this election, I will not do that."

For Johnson, IT DOESN'T MATTER who the American people elect as president

During his interview with Cain, Johnson also spoke out against the "division" he mentioned, telling the reporter: "Today's cancel culture, woke culture, division, et cetera – that really bugs me. In the spirit of that, you either succumb to that and be what over people want you to be, or you be yourself and be real. That might make people upset and piss [them] off, and that's OK."

The actor of "The Scorpion King" and "Fast & Furious" fame also did not endorse former President Donald Trump. Instead, he stressed that "it doesn't matter" who the American people elect as chief executive in November – borrowing one of his famous lines from his career with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) franchise.

"My goal is to bring this country together; I believe in that. There will be no endorsement. At this level of influence, I will keep my politics to myself. It is between me and the ballot box," remarked the WWE superstar.

"But I will tell you this. Like a lot of us out there, not trusting of all politicians, I do trust the American people and whoever they vote for. That is my president and who I will support 100 percent."

Cain then asked if Johnson would ever consider dipping his toes into politics by running for president, to which the People's Champion responded in the negative. "No, that's not my intention. I'm not a politician," he said.
