The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) confirmed this week in an official statement that wearing a mask to try to deter infection and spread of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) is an exercise in foolish futility as face coverings do absolutely nothing to deter respiratory viruses.
Not only that, but masks pose serious health risks to those who wear them, not to mention the environmental pollution they cause as they get strewn all over sidewalks and in waterways once people are done using them.
Should the covidiots attempt another round of mask mandates, it is also important to stand firm in upholding your individual right to not wear one, as is your right via informed medical consent.

The AAPS is a non-partisan organization, by the way, that represents professional physicians from all walks of life, and from all medical specialties. Created in 1943, the AAPS is a reputable source of medical information – and if they say masks are bad, then masks are bad.
"The AAPS statement of Patients' Freedoms provides that patients have the right to be informed about the risks and benefits of any medical intervention, and have the right to refuse medical treatment," reads a press release from the group.
"The use of masks and other face coverings, as a public health measure or otherwise, are a type of medical intervention to which the above informed consent rights apply."
"Government recommendations and mandates regarding face coverings have been contradictory, provided to the public as authoritative without evidence, are in conflict with the available data, and neglect to mention any potential harm from use of coverings or masks."
A Cochrane systemic review cited by the AAPS in its release clearly shows that face masks are not a safe or effective way to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses, which is what the establishment claims that COVID is.
Not only that, but wearing a face mask, especially for long periods of time such as at work or school, is extremely damaging to one's health. At least 60 different studies and reports prove this.
"Prolonged use of N95 and surgical masks by healthcare professionals during COVID-19 has caused adverse effects such as headaches, rash, acne, skin breakdown, and impaired cognition in the majority of those surveyed," one study found.
Another found that wearing an N95 mask for 14 hours a day significantly damages physiological, biochemical, and perception parameters.
"Overall, the research to date demonstrates that the visible articulations that babies normally see when others are talking play a key role in their acquisition of communication skills," yet another study found about the negative impact of masks on children and babies.
"Research also shows that babies who lip-read more have better language skills when they're older. If so, this suggests that masks probably hinder babies' acquisition of speech and language."
Then there is the hypoxia risk as wearing a mask causes a person to inhale carbon dioxide (CO2)-rich waste that can cause brain, organ, and other serious health damage.
There is never a good reason to wear a mask unless you're working with dust or performing surgery. Learn more at Health.news.
