Americans shun Biden’s woke military, as all service branches except the USMC see recruiting shortfalls
By JD Heyes // May 09, 2023

Once upon a time, about two-and-a-half years ago, the only American institution that had yet to be infiltrated by the far left's woke countercultural revolutionaries was the U.S. military, but the sycophants who are running Joe Biden's regime have managed to successfully destroy it as well.

While agencies like the Justice Department, the FBI, and various intelligence bureaus have all been filled with anti-independent, anti-conservative leaders, the military has been turned into a nightmarish, woke social experiment that fewer and fewer Americans want to join.

The Army, for instance, is facing challenges in meeting its recruitment target of 65,000 new soldiers this year, and this also comes at a time when there is a declining pool of eligible young people to serve, Military.com reported.

"We are not going to make that goal," Army Secretary Christine Wormuth told lawmakers at a congressional hearing Tuesday. "We are doing everything we can to get as close to it as possible; we are going to fall short."

The Army fell short of its goal of 60,000 new active-duty recruits last year by about 15,000 troops. The Army National Guard is facing even more challenges, struggling to attract new soldiers while also dealing with retention issues as well. Military 'leaders' claim the Guard is falling short because part-time soldiers are leaving the service due to the demands of juggling domestic and overseas missions -- but during the height of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, the Guard didn't have that problem.

No, it's not "deployments" or "a strong labor market" or even completely the fault of a shrinking recruit pool.

It's wokeness, pure and simple.

The Navy is a prime example.

“Struggling to meet their recruiting goals for fiscal year 2023, U.S. Naval leadership has found whom they believe to be the perfect person to increase the branch’s ranks: Drag Queen Harpy Daniels,” The Federalist reported earlier this week.

The Daily Caller added that the Navy hired Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley, an active-duty drag queen who identifies as non-binary and performs under the stage name Harpy Daniels, to be a “Navy Digital Ambassador” to increase recruitment for the branch. The Digital Ambassador program was launched to reach a wider range of potential candidates for military recruitment through digital platforms, as per a Navy spokesperson. The program reportedly ran from October 2022 to March 2023.

Kelley had announced on Instagram in November that the Navy had invited him to be their first “Digital Ambassador,” and highlighted his experience performing in drag for the Navy since 2018, while also presenting himself as an “advocate” and “leader” for individuals who were allegedly “oppressed for years in the service.”

“From joining to 2016 and being able to share my drag experience on my off time with my fellow sailors has been a blessing,” Kelley wrote. “This experience has brought me so much strength, courage and ambition to continue being an advocate and representation of queer sailors!”

According to a report by Military Times last month, the U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force are expected to face recruitment shortfalls in the “thousands” this year. The Navy is projected to miss its target by around 6,000 recruits, while the Army and Air Force are expected to fall short of their goals by 10,000 and 3,400, respectively.

Since President Joe Biden’s inauguration in 2021, the Defense Department has promoted the adoption of “DEI” ideology, which stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Critics argue that this ideology is divisive and harmful as it disregards merit and discriminates based on characteristics such as race and sexual orientation.

Critics of DEI suggest that even if an individual is qualified for a certain position based on their merit, they may be overlooked in favor of someone who meets the preferred identity standards of being more “diverse."

This is insanity. At a time when Russia is on the warpath in Ukraine and China's rising fast, we have America haters in charge and they're destroying the one institution built to defend the country.
