STUPID: In order to meet demand for “clean” electric vehicles, China will be forced to burn more COAL
By Ethan Huff // May 03, 2023

The "green" energy push is causing so many people to purchase electric vehicles (EV) in China that the country has no choice but to burn more coal in order to supply enough charging electricity for everyone.

Just as we have been warning would be the case, the transition from gas-powered cars to EVs will only place increasingly more strain on the electricity grid, which is still primarily fed using coal, gas, and oil.

In order to power all these new "clean" EVs roaming the streets, more earth-based fuels must be burned at power plants, which means there is absolutely nothing "green" about any of this.

"Power shortages are likely to reemerge as the acceleration in the energy transition continues to put pressure on electricity networks," said analysts Daniel Hynes and Soni Kumari in a recent report about the EV push.

Wind, solar, and water are unreliable sources of energy – only coal, gas, and oil are reliable

Already, China's energy grid is showing signs of failure as extremely low water levels throughout the country are negatively impacting hydropower generation. Much like wind and solar, hydropower relies upon shifting weather patterns and is not as stable as coal, gas, and oil.

The corporate-controlled media is blaming "climate change" for China's decreasing hydropower capacity, but the fact of the matter is that anything that relies on shifting weather patterns is going to be unreliable as a stable source of energy.

Once again, the only types of energy we can truly count on at pretty much all times to deliver as expected are earth-based fuels derived from coal, gas, or oil. Everything else comes with questionable reliability as sometimes the wind does not blow, the sun does not shine through heavy cloud cover, and water levels fall due to shifting rains and drought.

Hydropower is China's largest source of so-called "clean" energy, and like solar and wind it is proving to not be enough to keep all those EVs powered. The only solution is for China to burn more coal to make up for the deficit.

According to ANZ, the entire world's passenger fleet of EVs will displace just 600,000 barrels a day of earth-based fuel demand this year. Meanwhile, countries are having to use more of those same earth-based fuels to keep their power plants online and their EVs powered.

In other words, gas-powered cars and EVs still both require earth-based fuels. It is just that the one uses those earth-based fuels directly in the product's gas tank, while the other is powered by electric plants that burn earth-based fuels far away from the end product.

It is a similar situation for solar panels, the manufacturing plants of which require lots and lots of earth-based fuel input in the form of electricity in order to output the final product.

"I don't know why the lefties hate coal; it's black," joked one commenter, making light of the ridiculous notion of the "clean," "green" energy hoax.

"China produces 12 million tons a day of coal," wrote another, further noting that China's skies are blanketed in pollution because of all the earth-based fuels that have to be burned in order to power everyone's "clean" EVs.

Another pointed out that China's continued high demand for coal is part of the reason why Barack Obama tried to shut down all coal production in the United States, "so his cronies can buy leases for pennies on the dollar and sell the coal to the Chinese, as well as to break the power of the United Mine Workers."
