Prophecy and Politics with Dr. Scott Lively: Anti-Zionism just a new name for Jew hatred – Brighteon.TV

According to author and activist Dr. Scott Lively, Jew hatred is still very much alive.

"The whole anti-Zionism is just a new name for Jew hatred," he declared during the Aug. 28 episode of his program "Prophecy and Politics" on Brighteon.TV. "It is a movement that has become, for most, a virtual cult whose members are dogmatic to the point of irrationality."

He remarked that various forms of anti-Semitism have been on the rise in leftist Christian social justice circles for several years. It runs parallel to the Marxist Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement against Israel. The anti-Semitism in these circles seems to unite around the theme and label of anti-Zionism, bypassing the anti-Semite label and its accumulated baggage. (Related: Women's March founders accused of having shocking links to anti-Semitic policies and systemic bigotry against Jews.)

According to the "Prophecy and Politics" host, anti-Zionism suggests a narrower focus of opposition on the history and geopolitics behind the establishment and continuation of the nation of Israel. It also applies to opposition against the supposed manipulation of the U.S., the U.K. and other governments by super-rich Jewish banksters and other Jewish elites.

He warned that there is a swath of conservative Christendom doctrinally susceptible to false anti-Zionist reasoning. This anti-Zionism cult, he added, has become a common ground for leftist and rightist Jew haters. Lively cited instances were he was forced to end most of his debates with anti-Zionists, due to their refusal to concede any arguments from the pro-Jewish side that contradict their extensive and multifaceted dogma.

Launched in 1897, Zionism seeks to create and support a Jewish national state in Palestine, the ancient homeland of the Jews. Judeo-Christian support for the return of the Jews to Israel is as old as Bible literalism itself: God promised that land to Abraham and his descendants, and predicted their return to that land through many prophecies in the Old Testament.

Moreover, Lively mentioned that Christian anti-Zionists insist on the term "Judeo-Christian" being an oxymoron because Jews are antichrists for denying that Jesus or Yeshua is the Christ or Messiah. Aside from this, they also insist that Judaism and Christianity are 100 percent incompatible and contradictory.

"Jews who adhere to Judaism do deny Christ. But if being anti-Christ forecloses all interaction with Christians, then anti-Zionists are grossly hypocritical and shunning Jews while happily coexisting with almost everyone else," he remarked. "The hypocrisy is compounded by the fact that true Jews share 90 percent of Christian beliefs and values and are strong allies in essential things like family and creationism."

America's national uniqueness stems from Christian-Hebraic movement

According to Lively, "Judeo-Christian" is an appropriate label for America because its national uniqueness originated from the Christian-Hebraic movement of the 16th and 17th centuries. This uniqueness, he explained, is exemplified by the Pilgrims who interacted closely and harmoniously with the Christian-friendly Jews. The Pilgrims that came to America were celebrating Thanksgiving and the Feast of Tabernacles instead of Christmas or Easter.

The missionary and pastor mentioned that self-rule through covenantal oaths that are exemplified in the Mayflower Compact and the Declaration of Independence was the seedbed of modern constitutional republicanism.

He added that all of this originated or had been refined during the Hebraic movement, proving that America absolutely is and has always been Judeo-Christian.

Lively also explained that the Jews were chosen by God to be the examples of the best and worst of humanity based upon their obedience or defiance of Him.
