Alex Jones challenges Trump to admit he was DECEIVED about harmful and experimental COVID vaccines
By Belle Carter // Aug 02, 2022

InfoWars founder and host Alex Jones called on former President Donald Trump to come out and admit he was duped into believing that the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines are "safe and effective."

"He should start coming out against this now and say he was conned [and] he was manipulated," Jones said. "He listened to his science advisors, about 20 doctors, [and] they lied. Trump is 77 years old, or whatever he is, and essentially – old-timers believe doctors."

According to the InfoWars founder, the real estate mogul-turned-president is still pushing the poison shot – despite the growing body of studies that prove the vaccines cause more harm than good by erasing the immune system.

He also mentioned how Dr. Deborah Birx, the former White House COVID-19 coordinator, maligned the Trump administration's attitude toward the pandemic. During a Congressional hearing, she testified that there was a consistent effort to stifle information regarding the number of infections in late 2020. Birx also claimed that the Trump administration's actions caused "a false sense of security in America."

Jones implored Trump to stand up now and clear his name in light of Birx's accusations. The InfoWars founder also denounced the fact that Trump simply stood by and allowed his advisors to call the shots. The former president ought to admit that he had been lied to, he added.

"That's the manly thing to do. That's leadership; [to] admit he was conned. Come out and deal with it, and then start saving people. Once you learn you got conned and not do anything about it, you become a part of it."

Despite his strong words against the former president, Jones also lauded Trump for "really starting to get hardcore" as he criticized the sexualization of kindergarteners during the America First Agenda Summit. He also praised Trump for shining a light on the border crisis and unequal trade deals.

Jones: Trump ought to follow the example of Brazil's Bolsonaro

According to Jones, Trump should follow the lead of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who has consistently stood up for health freedom in his country.

Back in January, the populist leader criticized Anvisa – the Brazilian counterpart of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration – for approving Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for children aged five to 11 years old. Bolsonaro justified his criticism by saying that he had not heard of children dying of COVID-19.

The unvaccinated Bolsonaro, who possesses natural immunity after a bout with COVID-19 in July 2020, has challenged COVID-19 measures in Brazil. He raised doubts about the vaccines and the idea of tying people's freedom to their vaccination status.

"If a citizen does not want to get the vaccine, it is his right and that's it," he said in October 2021.

Trump appears to have answered Jones' challenge by calling for the reinstatement of military members discharged for turning down the COVID-19 shot. The former president put forward the idea during Turning Point USA's Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida. (Related: Donald Trump plotting return to White House in 2024, makes major pledge to military members discharged for refusing COVID vax.)

"We have to abolish all COVID mandates and lockdowns. Rehire every patriot who was shamefully fired from the military, with an apology. We have to give them an apology. And all of their back pay," he told the Tampa crowd.
