Thomas, who is six-foot-four, has been making waves for the past several years by winning gold medal after gold medal competing against women. Some of them are upset with him over it, while the more "woke" flavors of society are calling him stunning and brave for being his "true self."
At the 2022 Ivy League championships alone, Thomas set five individual records, smashing his female competition at nearly every meet. And now UPenn wants to honor him by pushing the NCAA to make him Woman of the Year – even though he is not a woman.
"We fully support Lia Thomas in her decision to affirm her gender identity and to transition from a man to a woman," reads a letter sent on behalf of 16 of Thomas' Penn Quaker women's swim team members, who are upset about his continued "success" at pretending to be a woman.
"Lia has every right to live her life authentically. However, we also recognize that when it comes to sports competition, the biology of sex is a separate issue from someone's gender identity."
"Biologically, Lia holds an unfair advantage over (the) competition in the women's category, as evidenced by her rankings that have bounced from #462 as a male to #1 as a female."
Despite the letter, UPenn still allowed Thomas to compete in the NCAA championship, where he took home a gold medal in the 500-yard freestyle, beating Emma Weyant from the University of Virginia.
"Fortunately for biological-women swimmers in NCAA Division I, that marked the end of Thomas' collegiate eligibility," one report stated.
Fellow trans athlete Caitlyn (née Bruce) Jenner is really upset that Thomas basically followed in his footsteps, calling Thomas "one of the worst things that happened to the trans community because it's such bad publicity."
"Biological boys, I've said from the beginning, should not be playing in women's sports," declared Jenner, who is also a biological male pretending to be a woman. "We need to protect women's sports."
Nobody really seemed to care about the trans invasion until it started harming women. Then, and only then, did some people start calling out the trans invasion as something damaging to the rest of society.
UPenn, however, is unfazed. The school continues to support Thomas in all of his endeavors, including any future female swimming competitions in which he participates.
This writer has said it before, and he will say it again: this is all the consequence of rampant feminism and its destruction of men and masculinity. The whole thing is coming full circle and now that women are being harmed, they are livid – but where was their upset when everything male was being deconstructed over at least the past 60 years?
"He's probably an angry man taking revenge on what feminism has wrought: nagging women and angry men," is how one commenter at Zero Hedge put it.
"He should just say he identifies as the NCAA Woman of the Year already and save everyone a lot of time and angst," joked another.
"The evil ones know exactly what they are doing," added someone else about the LGBT agenda. "In another 10 years, most of the population will be so screwed up in the head, they won't have any identity at all. They will be less than sheep."
