Ann Vandersteel relays Trump’s statement blasting mainstream media censorship – Brighteon.TV

Former President Donald Trump criticized the mainstream media censorship of the news that former first lady and presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton spied on him during the 2016 elections.

"Can you imagine that what should be the biggest story of our time, bigger than Watergate, is getting absolutely no mention in the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC Fake News, NBC Fake News, CBS Fake News, ratings-dead CNN, and MSNBC," Trump said in an emailed statement sent by Trump's Save America PAC.

"Steel Truth" host Ann Vandersteel read Trump's statement during the February 15 episode of her program on Brighteon.TV.

"?This [media silence] in itself is a scandal. The fact that a story so big, so powerful and so important for the future of our nation is getting zero coverage from LameStream [while] being talked about all over the world. Just like they wouldn't talk about the many [President Joe] Biden corruption scandals prior to the election, or for that matter, now," added Trump.

While Trump's rants may have been effectively muffled by the mainstream media, these were given attention by independent outlets like Brighteon.TV.

"They won't talk about this [election spying], which is potentially even bigger. It shows how totally corrupt and shameless the media is," Trump said.

The former president's relationship with the media during his term was far from ideal. And it carried over until he left the White House.

Clear display of media bias toward Biden administration

According to Trump, it was a clear display of the media's bias toward the Biden administration

"Can you imagine if the roles were reversed and the Republicans, in particular President Donald Trump got caught literally spying into the office of the president, all hell would break loose and the electric chair would immediately come out of retirement," said Trump. "The good news is everybody is talking about not only the atrocity against our nation, but the press refuses to even mention the major crime that took place."

Trump was referring to his appointed Special Counsel John Durham's allegation that Clinton commissioned an internet firm to spy on him in 2016.

Clinton's camp exploited computer servers at White House and Trump Tower

Durham, tasked to track the origins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Trump-Russia inquiry, recently filed legal documents claiming Clinton's camp hacked computer servers at the White House and Trump Tower in an attempt to find a link between the former president and Russia.

Clinton, the Democrat's presidential nominee in 2016, brushed aside Trump's accusation during her speech at the New York State Democratic Convention on Thursday, February 17, claiming that Trump was just using her to deflect tax issues hounding his family.

Also on Thursday, a New York judge ruled that Trump and children Donald Jr. and Ivanka must comply with a subpoena requiring them to answer questions under oath.

This only irked Trump more, and just hours later he lashed at Clinton and the mainstream media.

"Crooked Hillary Clinton, one of the most corrupt politicians ever to run for president, can break into the White House, my apartment, buildings I own and my campaign – in other words, she can spy on a presidential candidate and ultimately, the president of the United States – and the now totally discredited Fake News Media does everything they can not to talk about it," said Trump.

Trump supports Canadian truckers' Freedom Convoy

Apart from Trump's tirade, Vandersteel also tackled the ongoing truckers' protest, dubbed the Freedom Convoy in Canada.

Trump and Vandersteel threw their full support for the thousands of truckers who hit the road and converged on the capital city Ottawa to ask for the lifting of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) mandate requiring them to show proof of vaccination when returning from the United States.

Aware of Trudeau's strong actions to stop the Freedom Convoy, Vandersteel implored the Canadian truckers to hold the line as their protest has caught worldwide attention, even inspiring their counterparts from the U.S., Australia and Europe to do the same.

Trump wanted the truckers to know they're not alone in their journey toward freedom. "We want these great Canadian truckers to know that we are with them all the way," Trump said at a recent rally in Conroe, Texas.

Trump knows these words won't see print in the mainstream media, but they would appear elsewhere.
