Viral video shows increasing number of illnesses in US military following COVID vaccines
By Mary Villareal // Feb 03, 2022

A viral video compiled using the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) showed a sharp increase in the number of illnesses in the U.S. military presumably due to the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.

DMED is similar to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), except that it pertains only to Department of Defense (DOD) personnel, with medical providers putting information into the system.

Attorney Thomas Renz referenced the database during a panel discussion recently hosted by Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson. According to Renz, three whistleblowers said that post-vaccination miscarriages and cancers were up 300 percent over the past year, and neurological disorders increased ten-fold among DOD personnel.

"I have declarations from all three [that] this data is under penalty of perjury. We intend to submit this to the courts," Renz said.

A video breakdown produced by a military whistleblower group that includes active duty chief warrant officers backs up Renz's claims that adverse reactions have been increasing since the government began the vaccine rollout. Screenshots from the video also showed a 269 percent increase in acute myocardial infarctions or heart attacks, 285 percent increase in acute myocarditis, 467 percent increase in pulmonary embolism, 1,175 percent in disseminated intravascular coagulation or blood clotting, 590 percent increase in HIV cases, 1,529 percent increase in chest pain issues, 905 percent increase in dyspnea or breathing difficulty and startling increases in other illnesses, such as Bell's Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, menstrual issues, spontaneous abortions or miscarriages and cancers.

Renz shared with commentator Daniel Horowitz that a cancer epidemic is sweeping through the military, with the number of cancer diagnoses in the DMED system going from a five-year-average of 38,700 per year to 114,645 in the first 11 months of 2021, despite the military's predominantly young population.

Military denies data

Despite the numbers presented, military officials deny the data, insisting that the figures were wrong and resulted from a glitch in the database. The post was also flagged by Facebook as part of their efforts to "combat" fake news and misinformation.

Peter Graves, the spokesperson for the Defense Health Agency's Armed Forces Surveillance Division, said that they "found that the data was incorrect for the years 2016-2020."

Officials insist that they compared the numbers in the DMED with source data and found that the total number of medical diagnoses from the previous years "represented only a fraction of actual medical diagnoses" while the 2021 numbers were up-to-date, giving the "appearance of significant increased occurrences" of adverse effects due to underreported data from 2016 to 2020.

However, as Horowitz pointed out, unlike VAERS where anyone can submit unverified information, DMED is only by military doctors and quantifies every single ICD code in the military for billing, making it clearly defined in a finite population with excellent surveillance. "One of the biggest takeaways here is that the data is beyond reproach and widely accessible by the DOD, CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention], FDA [Food and Drug Administration], and across the Biden-Harris regime. In other words, they are all very well aware that the jabs are almost certainly causing an untenable increase in cancer in otherwise young and healthy military-age Americans and they're keeping that information away from the people," Horowitz said.

DOD suspends civilian COVID vaccine mandates

As for the vaccine-hesitant, the DOD is now pausing disciplinary actions for their civilian employees who remain unvaccinated. A federal judge recently ruled that the Biden administration does not have legal standing to enforce a mandate for federal employees.

The DOD has not yet released its firing policy or disciplining process for any of its 950,000 civilian employees who refused the vaccine, although exemption requests have been processed. While the Pentagon has not yet released its numbers of unvaccinated civilians, data shows that more than 340,000 have been vaccinated through the DOD.
