One idea being thrown around is to withdraw the state from all oversight of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), which has been tasked with enforcing the jab edicts.
"If the Department of Labor and OSHA are going to be weaponized as a way to hold hostage businesses throughout the state of Florida, no problem," announced state House speaker Chris Sprowls during a recent press conference.
"We want a different plan."
A special state congressional session has been set next week through November 19 to discuss the state's options.
"We want out of OSHA," Sprowls added. "We'll submit our own regulatory authority and say goodbye to the federal government."
In a separate prepared statement, Senate President Wilton Simpson added that the Biden rule is a joke that decimates everything for which OSHA supposedly stands as an agency.
"After 40 years in the private sector running businesses that depend on an in-person workforce, where significant safety risks have to be mitigated, I am shocked to see such an unconstitutional mockery of the important role of OSHA," Simpson said.
The only problem with this plan to withdraw from OSHA is that it is too little, too late. It should have been initiated years ago to have any substantive impact as deadlines for compliance near for many workers.
Even if Florida legislators agree to ditch OSHA, the process "could take several years," a report on the situation warns. This will not help Florida businesses avoid OSHA fines beginning Jan. 4, 2022, which is the current deadline.
After that, non-compliant businesses that refuse to obey Pedo Joe's demands face fines of up to $136,532.
"State lawmakers will also discuss proposals to prevent government employees to be forced to vaccinate, requiring businesses to allow vaccine exemptions, and prohibiting the Florida surgeon general from forcing citizens to get vaccinated," reported Zero Hedge about how Florida congressmen are trying to get ahead of all this, likely in vain.
Meanwhile, Florida continues to set records in the decline of the coronavirus throughout the state.
The latest data shows that new "cases" of the Chinese virus plummeted by 88 percent after all of the mandates – including those for wearing a mask – were lifted through executive orders.
Compared to other states where restrictions are still in place and vaccine compliance is high, Florida is faring better than almost all of them as it leads the pack in getting back to "normal."
"Secede: it's the only answer," wrote one Zero Hedge commenter about what he believes is Florida's only option to escape all the federal tyranny. "Sad but true."
Another suggested that other states should, and could, follow Florida if it moved in the direction of secession.
"That won't take years," this person wrote about seceding. "All it takes is someone like the Florida governor to say the emperor has no clothes and to pound sand."
Another pointed out that anything coming from the illegitimate Biden regime is "completely illegal and unconstitutional" to begin with. The thought of any business actually complying with its orders "is ludicrous," this person added.
"Biden isn't even a real elected president," this same person added. "Most of the Congress and federal government are illegitimate. They are absolutely in possession of prosecutable proof of crimes against humanity and fail to act."
