The Biden regime has shifted gears again to keep Americans pre-occupied with non-crises in order to divert attention from real ones, and is using COVID-19 -- again -- as the strategy of choice.
Since Joe Biden was installed in the White House by deep state operatives who gamed the electoral systems in several battleground states to cheat President Donald Trump out of his second term, the U.S. economy has been experiencing double-digit inflation for many goods and services.
At the same time the combo of China and Russia, as well as Iran, have all become newly belligerent, the former launching cyber attacks and making moves in the South China Sea while the latter riles up the Middle East in ways that threaten Trump's peace progress.
And while there is a crisis along the southwestern border, the Biden regime is taking away from that by instead fear-mongering over the newest 'variant' of COVID called "Delta" which is supposed to be more contagious than the original strain (though it's not producing near the number of deaths).
With warnings about how we will now need to mask up again and discussions about potentially mandating COVID vaccines at least for federal workers, the administration is diverting our gaze away from how the border crisis is exacerbating our supposed COVID crisis.
It all seems like a vicious, endless cycle, doesn't it?
The Western Journal's Samantha Chang wrote last week:
Migrant holding facilities that house tens of thousands of illegal aliens are festering petri dishes teeming with coronavirus-infected children and adults, thanks to the unsecured southern border, according to two whistleblowers on the frontlines.
In an explosive 10-page complaint filed Wednesday, the federal employees said the Department of Health and Human Services ordered them to downplay a rampant COVID-19 outbreak among children at a migrant center in Fort Bliss, Texas.
This is especially shocking because children are generally at low risk of contracting the virus.
She points out that "hundreds of children" have gotten ill at the migrant facility because it is grossly overcrowded -- and it is grossly overcrowded because the centers were not designed to hold that many illegal migrants at once. But they've now become inundated thanks to the Biden regime's open borders policies (and they are).
“COVID was widespread among children and eventually spread to many employees,” the whistleblowers wrote in their complaint.
“Hundreds of children contracted COVID in the overcrowded conditions. Adequate masks were not consistently provided to children, nor was their use consistently enforced," they added.
Instead of fixing the problems that are worsening the situation and which caused the COVID outbreak at the detention centers and are adding to the spread of the virus around the country -- like, maybe, closing the borders completely -- “every effort was made to downplay the degree of COVID infection at the site, and the size of the outbreak was deliberately kept under wraps," the whistleblowers added.
Notes Chang: "The complaint was filed by the nonprofit Government Accountability Project on behalf of government employees Arthur Pearlstein and Lauren Reinhold. It was sent to four congressional committees as well as the watchdog that oversees HHS."
What's going on here? The answer seems obvious.
Democrats and their deep state operatives have been exploiting the COVID pandemic for their own selfish personal political gain since the pandemic began. First it was lockdowns and then it was business closures that all led to more dependency on the government; now, Biden and his band of Marxists are seeding the country with more COVID so they can continue to reimpose restrictions and mandates that keep Americans docile and dependent. And this cycle isn't going to end until enough Americans stand up and say, "We've had enough."
