Congressional wannabe Debby Burnett caught lying on Twitter about working at hospital “full” of covid patients
By Ethan Huff // Aug 07, 2021

A deceptive woman by the name of Debby Burnett is desperately trying to unseat Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) from her position in Colorado's 3rd congressional district by pretending to work in a "COVID unit" that she falsely claimed was "full" of anti-vaxxers.

In a bizarre July 27th tweet, Burnett posted a photo of herself masked in a dimly lit, empty medical room along with the caption:

"I work on the COVID floor at my hospital. It's full.

The entire floor + the ICU are at capacity w/ COVID patients – almost all unvaccinated.

Our district has one of the lowest vaccination rates because our rep Lauren Boebert spreads lies & misinformation about the vaccine."

Burnett's goal, of course, was to enrage her followers into blaming the "unvaccinated" for the alleged spread of new Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) "variants," driving them to vote for her instead of Rep. Boebert in the next election. The only problem is that everything about Burnett's tweet as a "lie."

The hospital that Burnett claimed is full is actually mostly empty. Furthermore, it is located in Wyoming, not Colorado as Burnett implied in her tweet. Even worse, Burnett is a veterinarian, not a "COVID frontline worker" like her Twitter profile used to claim before she was caught lying about the full hospital.

Now, Burnett's Twitter profile states that she is a "hospital Physical Therapist," with no more mention of covid.

Debby Burnett is an embarrassment

As it turns out, Burnett staged a fake photo at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC), which as revealed even by the picture she posted is not full of covid patients, let alone unvaccinated ones.

Rather than confess that she lied and offer up an apology, though, Burnett doubled down in a follow-up tweet, stating that as a PT she does work on "COVID floors" to help "patients recover" from the Chinese Virus.

"To all the Boebert supporters asking why a veterinarian works on the COVID floor of a hospital – I am also a licensed Physical Therapist who has worked at my hospital for over 11 years," Burnett wrote snarkily.

"My hospital, like most nationwide, have PT's [sic] on their COVID floors helping patients recover."

Nice try, Burnett, but the cat is already out of the bag. You lied about working at a hospital, presumably in Colorado, that you said was overflowing with Wuhan Flu patients. Everything about what you did was wrong, and yet you still cannot see your own sins.

The good news is that many on Twitter noticed Burnett's sins and are pointing them out to her as she continues her crusade to try to unseat Boebert. One posted actual data from CRMC showing that its current capacity is nothing close to full.

Another claiming not to even be a Boebert supporter pointed out that she simply does not like when people lie, which is what Burnett did by posting the hilariously dumb and deceptive photo of herself masked in an empty-looking Wyoming hospital.

"Your hospital isn't even in CO, and is nowhere near full," this person added.

Another flat-out called her a liar, not indicating his political position.

"Those of us out here already know the score, and those in the dark insist on remaining there," wrote one commenter at Twitchy about people like Burnett, citing John 3:18-21.
