The City Journal published a lengthy piece about this family, the member's names of which were changed for their own protection. The family's autistic 16-year-old son was taken by Seattle Children's Hospital following "credible" threats of suicide, and now the institution is refusing to give the child back unless his parents agree to let him "transition" into a "girl."
The boy obviously has some mental abnormalities because of being on the spectrum, and Seattle Children's Hospital is taking full advantage of that by demanding that the boy's parents treat him like a female and refer him to the institution's "gender clinic" for a full "reassignment."
"They were trying to create a customer for their gender clinic," the boy's father told the paper. "And they seemed to absolutely want to push us in that direction."
"We had calls with counselors and therapists in the establishment telling us how important it is for him to change his gender because that's the only way he's going to be better out of this suicidal depressive state."
Ever since, it is been a battle for the family, all of whom are Muslims, to try to get the boy back into their loving arms, rather than in the hands of mad Western "scientists" and "physicians" who would love for nothing more than to chop up the boy's reproductive organs and turn him into a "woman."
Autistic children are particularly susceptible to being swayed by the type of brainwashing that is now occurring at Seattle Children's Hospital, where those in charge have apparently been exacerbating the boy's already confused state.
The apparent goal is to have the boy opt for surgery and hormone therapy to complete his "transition," and unless his parents agree to it, they might never be able to see him again. This is a form of medical kidnapping, which we have covered numerous times in the past.
In this case, the boy in question has a fixation problem, which when combined with stimuli that capture his attention, allows him to be easily persuaded. He had also been spending a lot of time online, where so-called "trans influencers" are allowed to run rampant on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook spreading their propaganda.
"The messages these kids pick up [from trans influencers] when they're online is, 'We're the only people who understand you. Your people, your parents, don't really understand you,'" warns child psychiatrist and gender dysphoria expert Susan Bradley.
"And it may be the first time in their lives that anybody has said to them, 'We understand you. We know you. You're okay. You're just like us.' And it's powerful."
Bradley says that trans influencers love to target autistic kids with fixation problems because they can be easily persuaded to join the trans club. Then, depending on their age, the state might intervene to separate the child from his parents and make medical decisions for him against his parents' will.
"It has the same power to assuage all the alienation and grief and distress that these kids have been struggling with," she says.
