By News Editors // Sep 26, 2019

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough fell for a fairly obvious parody transcript of the phone call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Scarborough, who recently blamed Trump donors for mass shootings, retweeted the joke transcript with a “mind blown emoji” before people started making fun of him and he deleted it.

The joke from the Comedy Central show was that Trump did not know who he was speaking to and fumbled to think of something to talk about.

“It’s very impressive, what you’ve done, with that country, and the people of that country. Where it is. The people in the buildings, in that country. A wonderful place that I know very well – it has great roads and food. And I know what it is and who you are,” the fake transcript said.

Though Scarborough deleted the tweet, it was screenshotted by a reporter from the Washington Free Beacon.

Shortly after responding to the joke tweet, the liberal pundit tweeted asking why lawyers allowed it to be released, saying that it was “damning.” He did not delete that tweet.

It just goes to show that the folks over at MSNBC will believe absolutely anything if it will help them make the case that President Trump is bad.
