Kingpins behind “Russiagate” conspiracy theory, James Clapper and John Brennan, both lied to Congress – will they be held criminally liable?

Now that the “Russian collusion” conspiracy theory has finally been put to rest, many who have been following the sordid details of this seemingly endless political saga are speculating as to what will become of the criminal masterminds behind the “Russiagate” hoax, which has greatly damaged our Republic.

Two of the biggest culprits, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA head John Brennan, would seem to be among the ripest targets for a proper counter-investigation into the matter. After all, both of these deep state swamp creatures committed open perjury before the Senate concerning the federal government’s unconstitutional spying operations, and both played a role in perpetuating the lie that President Trump “colluded” with Russia to “steal” the 2016 presidential election.

Even as Leftist conspiracy theorists double down in denial over Russiagate, insisting that President Trump, his family members, and many of his aides are still somehow guilty of crimes for which they’ve now been vindicated, the glaring reality is that neither Clapper nor Brennan are yet receiving the scrutiny they deserve over their direct involvement in one of the biggest political hoaxes, not to mention plots of sedition against a sitting president, in recent history.

In responding to continued allegations by Leftists that members of Trump’s inner circle “lied” to Congress, thus indicating that Trump himself is “guilty” of Russian collusion, author Matt Taibbi commented on Twitter about the two elephants in the room that nobody’s talking about: Clapper and Brennan.

“… I struggle to understand why no one seems to care that two of the biggest sources of Russiagate stories, James Clapper and John Brennan, have records of lying to Congress,” Taibbi wrote.

The Intercept‘s Glenn Greenwald chastises Brennan for falsely claiming that Mueller’s report would lead to arrest “of the Trump family”

One of the more outspoken and influential critics of the fake news media’s shameful role in spreading this ridiculous hoax, Glenn Greenwald of The Intercept wrote a lengthy piece about how the mainstream media has made a complete mockery of true journalism by creating the “blackmail fantasies” and “collusion tales” that have “consumed most of U.S. politics and media discourse for much of the last three years.”

He also points out how Brennan, who now works for NBC News, stated just three weeks ago that Mueller’s report would lead to the arrest of members “of the Trump family,” which was obviously just more lies upon lies – this being the only thing that the fake news media knows how to report.

“As recently as 2 weeks ago, they had @JohnBrennan strongly suggesting Mueller would indict Trump family members on collusion as his last act,” Greenwald also tweeted as part of a series of scathing tweets aimed at fake news media outlets like MSNBC, which intentionally sparked mass confusion among its viewers by airing what he describes as “deceitful, propagandistic trash.”

Greenwald points to an article written by Taibbi that he says “lays out in indisputable, horrific detail the media’s indescribably and relentlessly reckless behavior over the last three years, whereby they abused and exploited valid fears of Trump to sell – for their own profit and benefit – completely false and baseless conspiracy theories that have now been completely debunked by their own anointed authority.”

Readers are encouraged to read Taibbi’s piece at this link.
