Jerome Corsi’s criminal complaint against Robert Mueller might finally end the “witch hunt” probe against POTUS Trump and allies
By JD Heyes // Dec 04, 2018

For 18 months, special counsel Robert Mueller has been empowered by a very dubious mandate from Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to run roughshod over what remains of our justice system by cherry-picking targets in his quest to find evidence of “collusion” between the 2016 Trump campaign and Mother Russia.

The Democrat Party’s propaganda wing, a.k.a. the “establishment” media, pretended as though Mueller had finally — finally! — found that smoking gun when they reported last week that former Trump personal lawyer Michael Cohen had agreed to a new plea bargain for allegedly lying to Congress last year in reference to proposed Trump Tower deal in Moscow that eventually fell through.

For a lamestream media and 40 percent of the country wedded to Mueller’s probe as the means of getting rid of POTUS Trump, the Cohen ‘breakthrough’ was sorely needed after another potential opportunity fell through.

Days before the Cohen story, the media was fixated on Dr. Jerome Corsi, a conservative author and investigative reporter known to be a major thorn in the side of the Democrat-aligned Deep State. Reports surfaced that after facing Mueller’s attack dog prosecutors for weeks on end, he was set to sign off on a plea deal as well, allegedly for “lying” to the special counsel’s team.

But then suddenly, Corsi reneged on said deal and announced that he wouldn’t be bullied by Mueller prosecutors into admitting something that was, in his words, a “lie.”

“They can put me in prison the rest of my life. I am not going to sign a lie,” Corsi told CNN in a phone call.

The Corsi saga was quickly overshadowed by the Cohen plea, but it turns out it is going to be far more impactful in the long run than anything a rat lawyer cops to. (Related: Mueller can’t prove ‘Russian collusion,’ so now he’s crafting a FAKE narrative with Corsi: DiGenova.)

First serious pushback

Not only has Corsi refused Mueller’s “deal,” he’s now filed a criminal complaint alleging that the special counsel and his team attempted to bully him into providing “false testimony” against POTUS Trump, Fox News reports:

The 78-page document, asserting the existence of a “slow-motion coup against the president,” was filed to a range of top law enforcement officials including Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, D.C.’s U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu and the Bar Disciplinary Counsel.

“Dr. Corsi has been criminally threatened and coerced to tell a lie and call it the truth,” according to the complaint. He told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that the threat of a false statement charge stems from a July 2016 email to Trump associate Roger Stone asking him to “get to” WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange, who later released a trove of emails damaging to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Corsi, in his complaint, alleged that he could not “initially” give “accurate” testimony before reloading emails on his laptop. He also said that Mueller’s team “was happy” with his responses until he couldn’t “give them what they wanted” — which was to implicate the president in the WikiLeaks email releases.

This represents the first serious pushback against Mueller and his fake ‘collusion’ probe. What’s more, it comes at a time when more people are beginning to question the legitimacy of a never-ending investigation that has veered so far from its initial stated objective that it’s become too obvious to deny.

One of them is investigative reporter Paul Sperry. He published a story on Monday alleging that Mueller, in Cohen’s plea deal, left out information in court papers that would exonerate POTUS Trump in establishing that there was no “back channel” between the 2016 campaign and the Kremlin — a connection that Mueller’s probe has long sought in its collusion investigation.

Neither Corsi’s complaint nor Sperry’s revealing story represents favorable or welcome PR for Mueller. Combined, these two developments may converge to either end Mueller’s politically motivated probe or dramatically blunt the impact of any ‘damning’ final report he will issue.
