Mind you, Ford’s credibility was already under scrutiny after she leveled her accusations against Kavanaugh. In a letter that made its way to Sen. Dianne Feinstein over the summer and which was summarily leaked to the media, she said she was not able to remember where the alleged abuse took place, how she got to and from the event, or any other specifics that you would think someone who is “100 percent certain” Kavanaugh was the abuser could recall.
What’s more, Mark Judge, a Kavanaugh classmate who Ford says was in the room at the time, has vehemently denied he was anywhere near anything like what she described, ever – and for sure not with the prospective SCOTUS justice.
As The Washington Post reported, Ford also couldn’t remember how the gathering in question came into being, in addition to being unable to recall other “key details,” according to NewsTarget. In addition, Ford at one time claimed that she had a fear of flying but flew all over the planet, practically, for vacations.
Now, a new report claims that Ford’s Stanford University biographical page has been altered at least seven times since the beginning of September – in the weeks leading up to her Senate Judiciary Committee testimony on Thursday, according to The Gateway Pundit.
Specifically, Ford’s title on her Stanford bio page initially was “Research Psychologist,” but was eventually changed to “Affiliate, Psychiatry and Behavioral Services.” According to the “Internet Archive Wayback Machine,” you can see that the Stanford page has been altered seven times since Sept. 18.
What’s also notable is that everyone is referring to Ford as “Dr. Ford.” But as NPR explained on Friday, the public network does not confer that title on Ph.D.’s because its longstanding “policy is to reserve the title of ‘Dr.’ for an individual who holds a doctor of dental surgery, medicine, optometry, osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine or veterinary medicine.” (Related: Sen. John Kennedy to Blasey Ford’s lawyers: ‘Hide your head in a bag for the rest of your lives’.)
Ford reportedly holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California (USC). But a report from conservative author and activist Milo Yiannopoulos’ Dangerous.com indicates she may even have committed perjury during her testimony last week because there does not appear to be any California state record of her holding such a degree.
She opened her testimony with this statement:
Chairman Grassley, Ranking Member Feinstein, Members of the Committee. My name is Christine Blasey Ford. I am a professor of psychology at Palo Alto University and a Research Psychologist at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
We already know that someone has changed her Stanford bio page. Dangerous notes:
Under California law, as with almost every other state, in order for a person to identify publicly as a psychologist, they must be licensed by the California Board of Psychology, a process that includes 3,000 hours of post-doctoral professional experience and passing two rigorous exams. To call oneself a psychologist without being licensed by a state board is the equivalent of a law school graduate calling herself a lawyer without ever taking the bar exam.
According to records, Ford is not licensed in the state of California.
The site noted that a recent search through the state Department of Consumer Affairs License Bureau’s database of all licensed psychologists in California returned no results using any variation of Ford’s name. Even if she had a license once upon a time that is now active, Dangerous reports that that, too, is against state law. There is a “Christine Elizabeth Ford” licensed by the Board of Behavioral Services, but Kavanaugh’s accuser is Christine Margaret (Blasey) Ford.
It would appear that someone has some explaining to do.
