They were assisted in their disruptions by far-Left agitators who screamed and yelled so violently at times that some were dragged out by security, while Kavanaugh’s young daughters, on hand to see their father grilled, had to be led out of the hearing room to safety.
What has Democrats so exercised (besides their increasingly unhinged Left-wing base) is their minority status and their belief that he will form a SCOTUS majority that will someday overturn the monumental Roe v. Wade decision, the 1973 ruling that legalized the murder of babies in all 50 states under the guise of “civil rights.”
As the minority party, Democrats knew they couldn’t stop Kavanaugh’s eventual seating on the high court, as all Republicans and a few of their own (who are up for reelection in red states that POTUS Donald Trump won) were going to support his confirmation.
Out of time and out of options, they appear to have concocted a wild tale to smear Kavanaugh with sexual abuse allegations from an “anonymous” woman who claimed he nearly raped her 35 years ago while both were in high school.
Late last week, after the hearings had closed and the committee was preparing to vote, Sen. Dianne Feinstein crawled out from under a rock and dropped a bombshell: She says she obtained a letter earlier this summer from a Democratic House colleague, who had been sent it from an “anonymous” female source.
“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court,” Feinstein said in a statement. “That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.”
The FBI has since refused to investigate.
However, the writer of the letter alleged Kavanaugh engaged in sexual misconduct – that he attempted to violate her during a party in a locked room while a friend of his looked on when they were all in high school.
The writer also alleged that the incident so disturbed her that a) she never told anyone (that we know of), and b) she waited until 2012 to seek ‘psychiatric help’ for her ‘post-traumatic stress.’
As for Feinstein, she did not share the letter with any other member of the Judiciary Committee. She didn’t ask Kavanaugh about it at all – not in private when they met and certainly not in a public setting when it would have had maximum impact. And she didn’t tell anyone about the letter, either.
In just a few short days we learned the identity of the once-anonymous accuser: She is Christine Blasey Ford, Ph.D., a professor at Palo Alto University in California, who now claims that Kavanaugh’s assault was more than just groping, it was an attempted rape, according to her lawyer.
The first media outlet she went to was The Washington Post, which, as readers know, has produced no shortage of fake news regarding POTUS Trump and his administration over nearly two years. She told the Post that “Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth.”
“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” said Ford. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”
Mind you, Kavanaugh has been in the public eye (and in Republican political circles as well as a member of the federal judiciary) for decades. So why is Ford coming forth now?
Just as quickly as the story burst onto the scene, compliments of likely collusion between Feinstein and the dishonest establishment media, it is falling apart. (Related: Total DESPERATION by Dems as they create fictional smear against Kavanaugh… same playbook used against Clarence Thomas.)
-- Turns out that Ford is a far-Left political activist who, according to independent journalist Mike Cernovich, spent all weekend scrubbing her social media accounts and deleting incriminating information.

-- Ford may have a grudge. Internet sleuths turned up information that Judge Kavanaugh’s mother, a circuit court judge in Maryland, had a hand in allowing Ford’s parents’ house to be foreclosed on several years ago.
-- Classmate Mark Judge, the other male allegedly in the room with Kavanaugh, patently denied Ford’s claims. “It’s just absolutely nuts,”he said Sunday. “I never saw Brett act that way.”
-- Sixty-five women who either associated with Kavanaugh during his school years at various events (he went to an all-male private high school in Maryland) have signed a letter attesting to his character. And two women who dated him are also defending him.
-- And on Monday, Kavanaugh denied to Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, of even being at the party where Ford claims he accosted her.

As for Kavanaugh, he is doubling and tripling down on his denial.
“This is a completely false allegation,” Kavanaugh said in a statement. “I have never done anything like what the accuser describes — to her or to anyone.
“Because this never happened, I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday. I am willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee in any way the Committee deems appropriate to refute this false allegation, from 36 years ago, and defend my integrity,” Kavanaugh’s statement said.
This is a new low in American politics, even for Democrats who are the ones normally responsible for lowering the decorum standard.
