As Mueller continues to round up current and former Trump associates, the very basis of his appointment is now known to be fraudulent

Tens of millions of Americans are outraged after special counsel Robert Mueller managed to win convictions against former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort – who still has another trial scheduled to begin next month – while obtaining a plea bargain deal with former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.

Outraged because these court cases should have never taken place at all since the entire premise behind Mueller’s special counsel status is based on lies, myths, and false narratives.

By now, anyone with a functioning brain stem knows full-well that the Obama administration, on its way out the door, launched an operation to not only track (spy) on the Trump campaign, but to manufacture a tale that his campaign “colluded” with the Russians to “steal the election” from Hillary Clinton.

Part of the narrative stems from Democrats’ desire to undermine the entire electoral process with the objective of, someday, doing away with elections altogether because after all, We the People can’t be trusted to select our own leaders (as allegedly evidenced by POTUS Trump’s victory).

But in addition to that, the investigation is also part of the Deep State effort to undermine the president at every turn, peel away his support, and eventually the stage to remove him from office.

These theories help explain why Mueller is only interested in one side of the 2016 election – the Trump side, despite the fact that so much evidence exists that Hillary’s campaign, along with the Obama regime and the Democratic National Committee, is really guilty of ‘colluding’ with Russia.

Here’s another undeniable fact: Mueller wouldn’t even have a job were it not for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointing him after AG Jeff Sessions decided to recuse himself from all things Russia (for some reason).

That in and of itself has become one of the many lost facts in this entire scandal. (Related: Mueller gets his first Trump scalps with Cohen, Manafort convictions while Hillary and her Deep State criminals continue to breathe free air.)

Where is the intelligence or evidence of a crime?

In April, House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., made this very point during an appearance with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo when he said his committee hadn’t found a shred of evidence that the Trump campaign had broken any laws.

“This is really important to us because the intelligence investigation uses the tools of our intelligence services that are not supposed to be used on American citizens,” said Nunes. “So, we’ve long wanted to know what intelligence did you have that actually led to this investigation. So, what we found now after the investigators have reviewed it is, in fact, there was no intelligence.”

An incredulous Bartiromo responded,“That you’re telling us that in order for the FBI, the Department of Justice to launch an investigation into so-called collusion between President Trump and the Russians there was no official intelligence used. Then how did this investigation start?” she asked.

“I think that is the point. We don’t understand and never understood,” Nunes said.

We’ve been told that the probe into the Trump campaign was a counterintelligence operation, not a criminal probe. If there was no actionable intelligence, why was it launched in the first place?

And if Mueller’s investigation is a criminal probe, then it’s illegal because, under current statutes, the attorney general (or the acting attorney general) must determine that such a probe is warranted based on the belief that a crime has been committed. And even then, such an investigation can be handled by regular attorneys working for the Justice Department.

There was never any good reason to appoint a special counsel, and Rosenberg – the No. 2 at the Justice Department – has to have known all of this, being a career DoJ employee and all. And yet he appointed Mueller anyway.

Throw this in with the fact that Manafort was convicted using information from a previous Justice Department probe of the same allegations in 2014– which concluded he had not done anything wrong – and what we’ve got is a major scandal and a clear and present danger to the institution of the presidency.
