The treatment of President Donald Trump and members of his Cabinet and administration is getting worse as the hypocrite Left continues to demonstrate they, not Republicans and conservatives, are the purveyors of hate and intolerance.
On Friday, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders, whose job it is to deal with some of the most triggered, perpetually angry Leftists in the country — representatives of the fake news media — attempted to have a nice, quiet dinner with family at a swanky little place in Northern Virginia.
But it wasn’t to be.
As the U.K.’s Daily Mail reported, no sooner than Sanders and her party were seated at The Red Hen in Lexington, they were asked to leave by the very petty, very petulant owner.
Sanders tweeted about the incident.
“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so,” she wrote.
The Daily Mail noted further:
Sanders has received intense criticism over recent days as one of the most public defenders of President Trump’s now reversed policy to separate migrant children from their families.
Which, by the way, is a manufactured, phony “crisis” the lamestream media cared nothing about when it was Barack Obama’s administration actually caging migrant children and wrapping them in foil-coated blankets.
Staffers at the discriminatory restaurant also took to social media to essentially brag about Sanders and her party being asked to leave. Jaike Foley-Schultz posted on Facebook he only served the Sanders table for about two minutes before the manager came over and told the press secretary to leave.
“I just served Sarah Huckabee Sanders for a total of 2 minutes before my owner kicked her out along with 7 of her family members,” he wrote — perhaps without thinking about the huge tip he missed out on. The post went viral after the director of the environmental group Clean Virginia, Brennan Gilmore, shared it on the social media sewer known as Twitter. She included a photo of a handwritten note supposedly from the restaurant that said, “86 — Sara Huckabee Sanders.”
“86” is restaurant slang for kicking someone out.
Gilmore wrote: “@PressSecretary got kicked out of The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va tonight. Apparently, the owner didn’t want to serve her and her party out of moral conviction.”
Moral conviction. More like extremely bad manners. That’s typical Left-wing reasoning; they are moral, while anyone who disagrees with them is amoral.
The incident drew the ire of Huckabee’s father, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a Republican.
“Bigotry. On the menu at The Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington VA. Or you can ask for the ‘Hate Plate.’ And appetizers are ‘small plates for small minds,’” he wrote on Twitter.
This is the second such incident involving a Trump administration official in days.
Last week, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen M. Nielsen was chased out of a Mexican restaurant near the White House by angry Left-wing punks from the Democratic Socialists of America as she attempted to have a meal. The mini-mob, which was likely tipped off by someone at the restaurant, included a paralegal who works for the Justice Department.
At a time when the Justice Department is suffering its biggest public relations disaster in history over Spygate. Talk about tone-deaf.
There is nothing anyone can do about abysmal behavior by Left-wing business owners except to patronize someone else. As for the conservatives, perhaps a little of the same treatment — tossing Leftists out — is in order as well.
Let them eat and shop somewhere that is ‘morally acceptable’ to them.
