UNREAL: CNN’s Jake Tapper declares “Allahu Akbar” to be “beautiful” right after terrorist mowed down 8 innocent people in NYC

Why are liberals always so quick to defend Muslims after a tragic terror attack occurs in the name of Islam?

During a recent segment on CNN, liberal commentator Jake Tapper had the audacity to argue that the phrase “Allahu Akbar” can actually be quite beautiful when it is used in the correct context, just moments after an Islamic terrorist murdered and injured dozens of people in New York City.

“The Arabic chant Allahu Akbar, God is great, sometimes said under the most beautiful circumstances and too often we hear of it being said in moments like this,” Tapper said during the segment. The comments came in the middle of a discussion with CNN’s crime and justice reporter Shimon Prokupecz about the terrorist attack that recently occurred in New York City.

Put yourself in the shoes of the people in New York City who got injured or managed to survive this tragic terror attack. As a massive truck plowed onto a bike path and the terrorist inside began opening fire, these people heard the phrase “Allahu Akbar,” which will forever be embedded in their minds and associated with death and terror. And yet, Jake Tapper thought it would be a good idea and not at all insensitive to go on national television and say the phrase “Allahu Akbar” is beautiful. Does it get any lower than that? (Related: Girls who have been sexually abused by Muslim rape gangs told to “shut their mouths” for the “sake of diversity.”)

As if dedicating the entire segment to defend Islam, CNN reporter Shimon Prokupecz also refused to describe the terrorist on the air because of the fact that he was a bearded Muslim from Uzbekistan. “Police know who he is. They have a description of him. I’m not going to share that at the moment,” Prokupecz said.

What would Shimon Prokupecz report if it were a white supremacist that had carried out the terror attack instead of a bearded Muslim? Would he say, “I’m not going to share his description at this moment?” Or would he be chomping at the bit to get in front of the television cameras and announce that the terrorist was a skinhead with a confederate flag flying out of the back of his pickup truck? For those who understand how one-sided and blatantly biased the majority of commentators at CNN are, the answer is obvious.

Liberals defending the religion of Islam is nothing new. In the past, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and dozens of other leftists have rushed to defend Muslims immediately following an ISIS-inspired terror attack, and more times then not, they have even refused to utter the three words “radical Islamic terrorism.”

Earlier this year, The Blaze reported on a CBS poll, which found that the majority of Democrats believe that the religion of Islam is just as dangerous as any other religion, including Christianity. Specifically, the poll found that 66 percent of Democrats feel that religions like Christianity, Judaism and Mormonism are responsible for just as much violence as Islam. Only 14 percent of Democrats said that Islam is more dangerous.

It’s funny how in every single terror attack inspired by religious extremism, it’s never a radical Christian or a Jew that cuts the heads off of innocent people or drives a truck onto a bike path. If the religion of Islam really is equally as violent as other religions, then why don’t we hear about acts of terrorism committed in the name of Christ? Where are all the terrorists who yell “praise Jesus” before slaughtering as many “non-believers” as possible?

It’s time to get real about the threats that America faces. If we can’t even properly identify the enemy, then how can we possible emerge victorious when all is said and done?
