Yet another Left-wing kook attempted to accost President Donald J. Trump in the U.S. Capitol Building Tuesday, yelling at him as he walked by and tossing Russian flags on the floor as he passed.
Trump, who was arriving for lunch with Republican senators to discuss tax reform, appeared nonplussed over the incident and did not appear to have been in any immediate danger.
Some have identified the man as Ryan Clayton, the president of Americans Take Action, a far-Left organization that advocates for Trump’s impeachment while claiming to represent “populism,” a “free and open Internet” (as if it isn’t free and open now), and a “purpose-driven economy,” which is liberal code for attacking free-market capitalism.
As Trump began walking by, the person identified as Clayton began shouting, “Trump is treason! This is not about tax reform!” The Daily Caller reported.
Clayton was standing with the gathered press gaggle, which leaves this major question: How did he get in, considering that all press are required to be credentialed, and security is required to check those credentials?
“That’s a very unusual breach of decorum for us to experience here,” said MSNBC correspondent Kasie Hunt during her broadcast.
As confirmed by NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Trump “was walking down the corridor right off the Senate floor on the second floor of the Capitol, one of the most secure places in Washington. We saw something we’ve never seen here before.”
No sooner than Clayton began yelling that Capitol Police surrounded him and began escorting him away from the press gaggle. It wasn’t clear what happened to him after that point but it’s assumed he was kicked off the Capitol grounds.
This isn’t Clayton’s first go-around pulling this kind of a stunt. He was previously kicked out of the 2017 Conservative Political Action Committee for distributing Russian flags to attendees.
But clearly, the bigger issue here is how Clayton got into the Capitol Building without credentials. Which security official screwed up and let him in? Or did someone else in the Capitol Building let him in?
What’s more, the White House press corps is a very select group; how come no one noticed Clayton did not belong there as a journalist?
Furthermore, as mentioned earlier by The Daily Caller reporter, Clayton is a known Left-wing quantity, and of course, most Washington reporters for “mainstream” media outlets are Left-wing in their political views and coverage: Again, how did they not notice him?
Something is very, very wrong here. What happened should never have happened, as the president is one of the most heavily-guarded people on the face of the planet.
What if this buffoon had been armed? Trump would likely have been assassinated.
And of course, there are plenty of crazy so-and-so’s on the Left who would love to see that happen. There are probably more than a few elected representatives and senators who wouldn’t be too terribly upset if that happened, either.
What’s become very apparent is that the Marxist Democratic Left is responsible for nearly all political violence in America these days. If it isn’t Left-wing extremist groups like Antifa being declared domestic terrorists, it’s supporters of avowed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders opening fire on Republican members of Congress in an attempt to murder them. (Related: White House: Trump administration takes Antifa violence VERY seriously.)
Think back — while many on the right reviled President Obama over his political ideology and policies, conservatives did not attack him physically nor did they take armed action against any of his supporters.
Democrats cannot make the same claim about their supporters not attempting to cause harm to political opponents.
There is a problem with political violence in America, alright. There is a problem with hate. There is a problem with intolerance. And it’s all coming from Democrats and the Left.
