The meltdown — or rather, targeted takedown — of fake news network CNN continued on Friday, when James O’Keefe’s undercover media organization released the third in a series of videos exposing the Atlanta-based media company.
In the newly-released video, Jimmy Carr, the Associate Producer for CNN’s “New Day,” called voters “stupid as s**t” for voting for Trump, derided the president and admitted that his network has a far-Left, anti-Trump, anti-GOP bias.
In addition, Project Veritas’ video includes a 90-minute audio of a CNN segment in which network producers selectively edited it to make a Trump supporter look like a conspiracy theorist.
Of Trump, Carr says:
On the inside, we all recognize that he’s a clown, he’s hilariously unprepared for this [to be president], he’s really bad at this, and he does not have America’s best interests. We recognize he’s just f**king crazy.
Asked if it “would be fair to question the intellect of the American voter,” Carr immediately responds, “Oh no. They’re stupid as s**t.”
O’Keefe has titled his undercover investigation exposing CNN “American Pravda,” a reference to a Russian state media organ that is largely a propaganda operation. When he was asked if CNN was “impartial,” Carr responded, “In theory.”
He continues:
I mean, here’s the deal. This is a man who’s not actually a Republican. He’s not actually a Republican. He just adopted that because that was the party he thought he could win in. He doesn’t believe anything that these people believe.”
“These people” — note the condescension from a guy who looks to be in his late 20s, early 30s, as though he’s got enough wisdom and worldly experience to even know the real-world differences between conservative and liberal policies.
And as for Trump, well, actions speak louder than words: He assembled the most conservative Cabinet in GOP history, rivaling even Ronald Reagan. He’s slicing and dicing as many government regulations as possible (small government — that’s a conservative Republican ideal). He’s very pro-business and pro-corporation, another GOP principle. And he just nominated (and the Senate approved) a Supreme Court justice in Neil Gorsuch the insane Left is already comparing to the late constitutional originalist, Justice Antonin Scalia.
Carr pontificates further:
The man’s on his third wife. I guarantee you he’s paid for abortions. He doesn’t give a s**t about abortion. He doesn’t care about gay marriage. He doesn’t even really care about the budget.
[The “Trump has paid for abortions” narrative is a fantasy of the far-Left, as evidenced by Left-wing Trump hate factory Slate begging its readers for any information about “abortions Trump may have paid for.”] (RELATED: CNN’s fake news Hall of Shame: The many times the network has purposefully lied about the Trump administration)
Okay, so critics of this latest video will simply say that Carr is speaking only for himself. O’Keefe and his undercover team were already anticipating that, so they probed Carr further. And he gave them much more insight into the network-wide attitude towards the president:
Ninety percent of us are on board with just the fact that he’s crazy. …My direct co-workers.
He then dishes on White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, damning her essentially for wanting to serve the president and her country:
Now, of course the thing that pisses the White House off so much, because we actually had that awful woman Kellyanne Conway. You know, the blonde. … She looks like she got hit with a shovel.
Like an earlier CNN producer, John Bonifield, who was filmed undercover admitting the Russia-Trump narrative was “bulls**t,” Carr also said the reason why the network was fixated on the allegations was purely for ratings, and that the directive for sticking with the bogus story came straight from the top (that would be CEO Jeff Zucker):
It’s decisions made by people higher than me and if they go wow, you’re ratings are soaring right now, keep up what you’re doing. Well, what we’re doing is Russia, ISIS, London terror, shooting in Chicago. That’s it.
There’s more, and it’s right here — including the doctored editing putting a Trump supporter in a conspiratorial light:
