If there is one takeaway the Democratic Party should have learned from the results of the 2016 presidential election, it’s that the American people have grown tired of the establishment and especially the Clinton family. After eight years of having Bill Clinton in the Oval Office and constantly having Hillary in the public light for the past decade has left almost all of us sick of their corruption.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t stopped the Democratic Party from grooming Hillary and Bill’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, to run for Congress in New York City.

Emily Smith of The New York Post states, “Chelsea could run for the seat in NYC’s 17th Congressional District once Lowey, a respected, 79-year-old career politician with nearly 30 years in office, decides to retire, we have exclusively learned. Lowey’s district includes parts of Rockland and Westchester counties and, conveniently, Chappaqua, the Clinton family home base.”

This would likely be a huge mistake, since Chelsea grew up in the same globalist establishment that the American people just proved that they are actively trying to reject. What makes any of these people think that this plan will work in their favor? Likely the same thing that led them to believe than running on a platform of moral superiority would win them a vote from the citizens of Middle America.

Democrats are so far removed from the rest of the country that it constantly costs them victories in elections. It is dangerous for them to rely solely on the hardcore liberals in order to secure votes and it frequently results in them losing to candidates that appeal more to the average member of the American working class. This is exactly why parading around a bunch of celebrities didn’t help the Clinton campaign in the slightest. The average informed American doesn’t care and sees through this desperate attempt to gain votes.

The Democratic Party needs to accept the fact that their party is going to die if they don’t let go of the establishment and start addressing the problems of Middle Amercia. We don’t want more people like the Clintons making decisions for all of us. We need people who actually care about us in office in order to ensure that we all continue to live in a free, advancing country.

Chelsea Clinton is not the answer we need and the Democratic Party pushing her on all of us will result in them losing once again. So hopefully they make that mistake and conservatives continue to hold office.
