The Clinton Campaign has once again been embroiled in a new controversy showing that not only was the use of violence condoned for activists protesting Donald Trump rallies, but that those who created such a dangerous environment were in fact being compensated for doing so. In March, protests in Chicago turned violent, leading to the cancellation of a Trump rally. This past Monday a video surfaced in which Zulema Rodriguez claims responsibility for the protest having the outcome it did. Rodriguez also states that another incident in Arizona, during which protestors shut down a major highway near another Trump rally, was also her doing. Rodriguez received two checks from the Clinton Campaign directly before the event disruption in Chicago and was also given rather sizable sums from MoveOn.org and the Stand Up For Ohio PAC.

The video, which was produced by James O’Keefe for Project Veritas, also coincides with an email released by Wikileaks. The clip shows an undercover discussion with Scott Foval, the national field director of Americans United for Change, during which he recounts not only planting people at rallies to incite violence, but also busing people in for even further distractions

The filmmaker, who was posing as a donor, had already tried to get similar information from Democracy Partners head Robert Creamer, but was unable to. Instead, Foval, who had worked as a sub-contractor in Creamer’s group, readily gave up the information that would incriminate both of them. Foval unknowingly goes on record as saying that those types of events make it rather easy for Trump supporters to “pop off” due to protestors wearing shirts from Planned Parenthood or that equate Donald Trump and his supporters to national socialists. From there, he says it was easy to get them to assault protestors.

Foval was relieved of his duties and Creamer decided to step down from his position so as not to interfere or cause a distraction from the Clinton Campaign. The Democratic National Committee was quick to distance themselves from the topics discussed in the video with interim Chairwoman Donna Brazile releasing a statement that the ideas and values brought forth in the clip do not represent that of the DNC or its policies. Coming from the same group that recently lost four of its top committee members when it was revealed that they had conspired to sabotage Bernie Sanders campaign, it seems that the DNC’s policies may need a major overhaul.
