(Freedom.news) Nobody likes a cheater – except, perhaps, other cheaters, which is why Democrats are in such good company when it comes to finding new and inventive ways to stay in power.
One of the latest schemes being pursued by Democratic political machines on the local, state and federal levels is how best to stack the deck against Republican challengers. The party elders have figured out the best way to do that is to ensure that the party owns the balloting process.
This is being accomplished in three primary ways: 1) Through the weakening of state voter ID laws aimed at ensuring the integrity of the balloting system; 2) the importation of immigrants by the millions, most of whom will likely register as Democrats; and 3) outright voter fraud (using, in part, #1 and #2).
The campaign of GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, as well as the candidate himself, are keenly aware of what the Democrats are up to. That’s why, over the past month or so, they have warned voters that the system is likely to be rigged against Trump in November, as well as Republicans in general.
In a recent column former Trump campaign consultant Roger Stone warned that the integrity of the U.S. balloting system is at risk of fraud and abuse, and that both parties, actually, are behind it.
“The issue here is both voter fraud, which is limited but does happen, and election theft through the manipulation of the computerized voting machines, particularly the DIEBOLD/PES voting machines in wide usage in most states,” he wrote.
Such warnings have been criticized as defeatist by some in the GOP, but the fact is Trump and Co. are exactly right to warn about ballot shenanigans. Trump has not only animated the GOP establishment to come out against him, but Democrats are equally enthusiastic about defeating him in November.
To the issue of voter fraud specifically, however, Stone may be a bit too “populist” when he attempts to spread the blame evenly between Republicans and Democrats because the fact is, most of the tampering is being done by the party of the donkey.
A recent piece in The Daily Signal documented four more cases of voter fraud, proving once again that liberals’ insistence that it doesn’t happen is bogus.
“Elections—our most direct means of political participation—should be fair and untainted by fraudsters. Every time a vote is cast illegally, it nullifies a legitimate vote and undermines the entire system by eroding public trust in our political institutions. It is imperative that this not be allowed to happen,” Jason Snead, a policy analyst in The Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, wrote.
He’s right, of course. But between power-hungry Democrats, Obama’s Justice Department and liberal activist judges on the federal bench, our balloting system is under full-scale assault. And the end-game is the hijacking of our political system and permanent Democrat political control.
Trump is sounding the clarion call, not premature defeat. We need to listen to him and anyone else who is trying to warn us that our small “d” democratic voting system is in danger of being taken away from us.
