The Regressive Left loves hashtags.
In their eyes, hashtags are the answer to all the world’s problems, regardless of how destructive or deadly.
Enter #MakeItStop — the new hashtag trend that will inevitably do nothing aside from making lazy, slacktivist liberals feel like they’re changing the world from the comfort of their couch.
Seemingly inspired by an article on The Boston Globe about how terrifying guns are, supporters of the hashtag are tweeting it in hopes of spreading their anti-Second Amendment propaganda — most of which is completely false.
Any time there is gun violence in America (especially when radical Islam is involved) leftists suddenly become firearms experts, despite the fact that a substantial amount of them have never even held a gun in their hands — much less purchased one. They’ll rattle off how easy it is to obtain a firearm, or how an AR-15 is an “automatic assault rifle.” They’ll try to “educate” gun owners about things they know nothing about, and then when they’re proven wrong, they’ll cry about bigotry and Islamophobia.
Liberals are like Superbowl Champions who have never stepped on a football field. They’re walking oxymorons. Emphasis on the ‘moron.’
All of their attempts to infringe on the rights and freedoms of law-abiding American citizens have grown increasingly absurd. What they should be attacking isn’t the Second Amendment, but radicalized Islamic views that are in direct conflict with American values and the Western way of life. Guns are not the problem — ideologies are.
A lot of liberals know this, though. They’re aware that there’s a genuine problem in this country regarding Islamic terrorists, but they’re afraid they’ll be labeled bigots if they choose to address the problem. Out of that fear, they’ll continue to blame firearms and gun owners for problems that are much larger than that. If our country is to survive and flourish, we have to put an end to this.
When it comes to liberal cuckoldry, cowardice, and misinformation, we really do need to #MakeItStop.
