Oil sheikhs gave the Clintons over $100 million in bribe money… and it’s all LEGAL!

The more you learn about the activities of Bill and Hillary Clinton, the more you get the feeling that you’re not reading about the lives of public servants but rather those of organized crime figures because much of what they do would be considered illegal if other people were involved.

This was highlighted – again – recently in a news story by The Daily Caller News Foundation, which reported that in investigation by the news site found that the political power couple received at least $100 million from autocratic Persian Gulf states and their leaders, which of course puts the lie to Hillary’s claim that, as president, she would carry out independent, unbiased Middle East policies.

National security analyst Patrick Poole, in an interview with TheDCNF, said that as a presidential candidate the amount of foreign cash the Clintons have raked in from Persian Gulf states is “simply unprecedented.”

“These regimes are buying access. You’ve got the Saudis. You’ve got the Kuwaitis, Oman, Qatar and the UAE. There are massive conflicts of interest. It’s beyond comprehension,” Poole said.

The web site noted that, according to public records available from the Clinton Foundation, the “non-profit” has taken in some $85 million in donations from five Persian Gulf states and their autocratic monarchs.

As TheDCNF reported further:

Activist groups have charged the five states — Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) — committed numerous human rights abuses.

For years, the accusations have centered on the Persian Gulf practice of importing hundreds of thousands of poor foreign laborers who work for low wages, including hundreds of thousands of female “domestic workers” who have no labor rights and often face exploitation and sexual abuse.

And it hasn’t stopped since Clinton threw her hat[e] into the ring this presidential election cycle; the foundation has an ongoing relationship, financially speaking, with these same despotic Gulf regimes, and some within Democratic Party ranks suspect that may hurt her claims to be a supporter of human and women’s rights.

While serving as President Obama’s secretary of state, Clinton also consciously and actively sought to legitimize these sheikdoms via many State Department programs.

As this point it’s not clear what sort of promises or concessions the Clintons may have made to the monarchs in return for such lavish support over the years, but Poole is likely correct in that these countries weren’t giving the Clinton Foundation so much cash because they were such fans of the Clintons, meaning they were most likely buying access to a future Clinton White House. However, already there are indications she is compromised; just last month Hillary reversed her long-standing support for fracking.

Her new position, as unveiled at a CNN debate with Democratic presidential opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders, put her position in alignment with the Gulf State policy that opposes North American oil and gas fracking.

Speaking of pay-for-play, the FBI is not merely investigating whether Clinton’s use of a private, unsecured email server violated any U.S. laws governing the handling of classified information. The bureau has reportedly also launched a second investigation of the former secretary to examine whether she engaged in any “political corruption” as secretary of state (seems high government office and foundation fund “donations” don’t go together well most times). The bureau wants to know if there was any promises of “pay for play,” so to speak.

TheDCNF also reported that Hillary may not be her own worst enemy:

Most troubling for Hillary, however, could be Bill’s personal, five-year business partnership with Dubai’s authoritarian ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin-Rashid al-Maktoum and his overall friendship with the rulers of the United Arab Emirates — a confederation of states that includes Dubai.

When Bill personally wooed bin-Rashid to join him as a business partner through his Dubai Investment Group, the sheikh was the crown prince of Dubai.

During Bill’s partnership with bin-Rashid, his stature rose. He now is the undisputed ruler of Dubai and the prime minister of the UAE, TheDCNF reported.
