(Freedom.news) Well, the global warming hoaxers aren’t going to like this one bit.
According to a newly released study by researchers at NASA, areas of the planet that are heavily industrialized and with fewer carbon dioxide-gulping trees are actually cooler on average, the UK Express reported Monday.
It’s just the latest data that puts the lie to the global warming/climate change hoax that has been utilized by environmental zealots and politicians to push for and implement restrictive liberty-stealing, costly regulations.
As you likely know, the hoaxers have long insisted that burning fossil fuels in automobiles, power stations and for other purposes is responsible for the creation of “greenhouse gases” that get trapped in the upper atmosphere of earth and as a result have an overall warming effect on the planet. To believe this “theory” requires a suspension of belief in hard data, such as that indicating there has been no global warming for nearly 19 years.
The NASA study’s findings did not dispute the effects of carbon dioxide on global warming, they did, however, find that aerosols – that are also released through the process of fossil fuel burning – actually cool the local environment, at least for a while.
NASA officials said the research was carried out to assess whether current climate change models (there’s never been any proof man is causing global warming – only models that have been consistently wrong) were taking into account all factors, the Express reported.
“To quantify climate change, researchers need to know the Transient Climate Response (TCR) and Equilibrium Climate Sensitivity (ECS) of Earth,” a NASA spokesman said.
“Both values are projected global mean surface temperature changes in response to doubled atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations but on different timescales,” the spokesman continued. “TCR is characteristic of short-term predictions, up to a century out, while ECS looks centuries further into the future, when the entire climate system has reached equilibrium and temperatures have stabilized.”
The spokesman said scientists have long known that aerosols like those emitted by power stations and volcanoes act to temporarily cool the earth by reflecting solar radiation back into space.
“In a similar fashion, land use changes such as deforestation in northern latitudes result in bare land that increases reflected sunlight,” he added.
Kate Marvel, a climatologist at GISS and the lead author of the NASA paper, said the results showed the “complexity” of trying to estimate future temperatures.
That’s an understatement. The hoaxers haven’t been right yet in any of their doom-and-gloom projections. But they keep making them and, worse, making policy based on inconclusive data and bad science. It’s why President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry crafted the recent climate accords in Paris in a way that avoided congressional approval.
None of this new data will matter to Obama and the hoaxers, however. They’ll keep pretending as though the “science is settled” and impose ever-more-expensive regulations and rules that will rob tens of millions of Americans of better opportunities.
