Right now, Israel has 6,000 Palestinians in their jails, most of whom are being kept there in violation of the fort Geneva Convention of 1949 which is a war crime," Boyle said during the interview.
"So that would be the normal, logical way to proceed here. First to ceasefire, immediate, no invasion. Second, humanitarian relief supplies, and then third, negotiation over the hostages. And then when that was taken care of, perhaps there could be negotiations over the bigger problem."
The conflict's potential to disrupt global energy supplies and trigger a wider war was a major concern.
