Retired Gen. Michael Flynn issued a warning to the intelligence community about opposing the nominations of Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel for their respective positions in the ODNI and FBI.

Flynn warned that whistleblowers are ready to expose "subversive and treasonous behavior" and that those responsible will be "prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Retired Gen. Michael Flynn, a victim of the Deep State during the first Trump administration, has warned of serious repercussions for those in the intelligence community opposing the confirmations of Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel for their respective positions.

The warning posted Monday, Feb. 3, on X served to put the Deep State's operatives in the intelligence community on notice. His notice comes amid President Donald Trump's key nominees facing fierce opposition from entrenched forces within the intelligence community and Congress. Trump named Patel to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) while he named Gabbard – a former U.S. representative for Hawaii – to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

"This is my final warning as it relates to the confirmations of Trump's nominees," wrote Flynn, who served as national security advisor during the first Trump administration. "If there are people inside of the ODNI, the CIA [Central Intelligence Agency] or the FBI that are working to subvert the nominations of Gabbard, Patel or Robert F. Kennedy Jr., I am writing to let you know. You better stop now and think before you go any further."

The retired general warned that whistleblowers are ready to expose "subversive and treasonous behavior" within these agencies. Those responsible will be "prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," added Flynn.

Flynn's words carry significant weight, given his own experience as a victim of politically motivated prosecution by the Deep State. They also underscore the high stakes surrounding the confirmations of Gabbard and Patel, both of whom have faced intense scrutiny and opposition from Democrats and establishment Republicans alike.

Gabbard has been a frequent target of smears, with critics accusing her of having sympathies toward Syria and Russia and espousing a "soft on Iran" approach. Meanwhile, Patel – who served in multiple roles during Trump's first term – has been criticized for his lack of traditional qualifications and his past comments suggesting he would target Trump's political enemies. Battle heats up over confirmation of Gabbard, Patel

Despite the opposition, Gabbard has garnered significant support, including from over 1,000 veterans who signed a letter endorsing her nomination. Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), has also thrown her weight behind the former congresswoman for the Aloha State.

"Any senator who votes against Gabbard for DNI [director of national intelligence] isn't just going to have a problem with MAGA [Make America Great Again] and Trump," the younger McCain wrote on X Sunday, Feb. 2. "I will make it my personal mission to help campaign and fundraise against you in your next election."

Meanwhile, conservative lawyer Mike Davis has emerged as one of Patel's most vocal defenders. He warned Senate Republicans in December that they will face his "political wrath" if they block the confirmation of Patel, who penned the children's book series "The Plot Against The King."

"You need to vote to confirm all qualified executive branch top officials, including Kash, unless you can point to clear and convincing evidence that they're disqualified because of their personal misconduct," Davis told political commentator Benny Johnson. He suggested that voting against Patel would be "a political death wish" for Senate GOP members, warning that those who oppose the nominee for FBI director will "get primaried" or provoke MAGA world with an equal outcome – their "political lives" turning into a "living hell."

"I hope these 53 Senate Republicans understand that this is a red line," said Davis, the founder of the Article III Project (A3P). "If they don't vote to confirm this highly qualified FBI director nominee, they're [going to] face the political wrath of the A3P."

The battles over Gabbard and Patel's confirmations highlight the broader struggle between Trump's administration and the entrenched forces of the Deep State, which many conservatives believe have worked to undermine the president’s agenda. Flynn's warning serves as a reminder that the stakes are higher than ever, with whistleblowers poised to expose wrongdoing and hold those responsible accountable. As the confirmation hearings unfold, one thing is clear: The Deep State is on notice, and the fight for control of America's intelligence and law enforcement agencies is just beginning.
