BOMBSHELL: Netanyahu received at least FOUR WARNINGS from Israeli military intelligence before the October 7 attack
By Richard Brown // May 29, 2024

Israeli media outlets, citing members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), are now reporting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been alerted at least four times that Hamas was planning to attack southern Israel.

According to Israeli Channel 13, Netanyahu received at least four warnings from Aman, the Military Intelligence Directorate, before Hamas launched its attack on Oct. 7.

The reports highlighted that Israel's adversaries were exploiting internal divisions to prepare for potential military actions. Netanyahu, however, denied prior knowledge, insisting that all intelligence indicated Hamas was deterred and seeking a settlement. Despite multiple intelligence warnings suggesting Hamas' intentions to breach Israeli settlements and military bases surrounding Gaza, higher-level Israeli officials reportedly ignored these alerts.

Some Israelis speculate that Netanyahu and other intelligence and military officials welcomed a Hamas attack, using the events of Oct. 7, which included false claims of Hamas atrocities, as justification for Israel's subsequent actions.

Israel's response included heavy airstrikes and ground military operations, prompted by calls from far-right religious elements within Netanyahu's government for a war on Gaza to forcibly expel its population and establish Jewish settlements in its place. Current estimates suggest that Israeli attacks on Gaza have already killed over 36,000 Palestinians.

Netanyahu's government had more than a year to prepare for the Hamas attack

Last December, a New York Times report said Israeli officials obtained a document detailing Hamas' battle plan for the Oct.  7 attack more than a year in advance.

The 40-page document, known as "Jericho's Wall," cited documents, emails and interviews but did not provide a specific date for Hamas' operation. However, it did outline an incursion that Israeli military officials note Hamas precisely executed, including overwhelming the border defenses surrounding Gaza, capturing nearby Israeli settlements and targeting IDF bases.

Despite the detailed plan, Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed it, believing Hamas could not execute such a complex operation. This dismissal has been viewed as a significant intelligence failure. This complex operation resulted in the deadliest single-day attack on Israel since its founding in 1948, with over 1,200 Israelis killed and hundreds taken hostage.

Following the attack, Netanyahu faced sharp criticism for accusing security chiefs of not warning him about the impending attack, a claim he later retracted. In a recent interview, Netanyahu declined to take responsibility for the oversight. He stated, “On the contrary, all the defense officials assessed that Hamas was deterred.”

The "Jericho Wall" document was reportedly circulated among military and intelligence leaders and, according to recent revelations, was also brought to the attention of Netanyahu and other top Israeli politicians. In the weeks and days leading up to Oct. 7, multiple intelligence reports from agencies both in Israel and the United States indicated an increased risk of escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

On Sept. 28, a U.S. intelligence update warned of potential escalations by Hamas, and on October 5, a Central Intelligence Agency wire cautioned Israel about the increasing likelihood of violence. On Oct. 6, mere hours before the beginning of Hamas' strike, U.S. officials noted unusual Hamas activity in Gaza.
